THE POWER OF A CLICK
I would dare to say that there has never been a time in the history of mankind when so much power is wielded at the click of a button. Sure there is enormous power and destruction sitting at the fingertips of the people who man nuclear missile silos in an increasing number of countries. The power that is there is largely a deterrent and has been a successful deterrent for many decades. Oh don't get me wrong I mean there is real power there if it is ever unleashed, enough power to destroy this planet and most if not all of it's inhabitants. Is this the button that I speak of when I say that there has never been a time in the history of mankind when so much power is wielded at the click of a button? No it is not nuclear capabilities that I speak of, but rather the power to choose to do either good or evil at the click of a button.
As a global missions ministry who specializes in globally sharing "Who is the Christ?' while serving the needy we use technology as a force multiplier in missions and we have come to understand the power of a click. Any influence that we may have is given by God. We understand that God's economy is not based on money, but rather on people and Godly influence towards and through people. How would we explain this more clearly? Let's look at how the Bible helps us to understand this:
1 Chronicles 4:9-10
9 Jabez was more honorable than his brothers. His mother had named him Jabez, saying, "I gave birth to him in pain." 10 Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, "Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain." And God granted his request.
This generational group of people now existing as the small province of Yehud (Judah) in the Persian Empire, are still God's people Israel and retain their central place in God's purposes for humanity. The identity and legitimacy of this people are traced in a line beginning with Adam (1:1) and extending through the tribes of Israel (chs. 2-8) down to the community of Judean exiles restored from captivity in Babylon (9:2-34). This community is depicted not as the sum total of the people but as the representative nucleus or focus to which ???all Israel??? may join in God's work of restoration.
The name Jabez had it's root meaning in birthing pains and Jabez later in life cries out the God of Israel to not only bless him and enlarge his territory but for God's hand to be upon him, keeping him from harm so that he would be free from pain. And the Word says that God granted his request.
As we walk in this unique calling as a family uniquely called out to found and establish M300 Ministries we have asked the Lord to bless us by enlarging our territory. We have asked God's hand to be with us and to keep us from harm. God's economy can not and should not revolve around money, the need for it or the lack there of. God wants us to see that He is the provider of all things and that all good gift come from Him. At the click of a few buttons God has led Valiant Warriors to us from many persecuted countries. This is our economy...an economy of Godly influence. These men come to us telling us that they have been fasting and praying to God for intervention and for help and leadership in their ministries. Most of these Valiant Warriors will tell you the same story that while they were gathered together fasting and praying to God one of them heard from God or God put this on his heart saying, "The most expedient thing for you to do is to go to the nearest internet cafe and go online. The first ministry that I show you will be the one that I am sending to help you.' Inadvertently they contact us in this way and we prayerfully begin to work together in places like Pakistan, Bangladesh, Myanmar, India and Africa. Do we have resources to help them? We have God power plus a very little bit that faithful Christians respond with in order to help. Often times the needs are not so much economic as a need for powerful friendships, relationships, guidance, teaching and leading in the Lord. Sure economic partnering in ministry can be very helpful and it happens as the Lord leads but even more powerful is the impact that is made by God's expansion of our territory for His sake and for His glory.
We are a 100% faith based ministry with no backing. We work mostly out of our private savings with two supporters who help one at $400 per month and one with $25 per month. We have a few donations in between that are used for specific projects and for partnering. When the power of a ministry is economic then it's demise is quickly approaching but when the power of a ministry is Godly influence then God can grow that economy. We are assured that as Godly influence increases so will Godly enabling. Don't believe for a second that it is an easy task to walk in a calling that nearly no one actually support but many pay lip service to. It is not an easy thing but it is sustainable by God's grace and mercy. If God does not want for us to eat so that you can benefit, then we will not eat. If God wants to grow this His ministry by faith and faithfulness then we are there ready to grow.
Jabez had his territory expanded by God and so will we. Imagine a small ministry like M300 Ministries with only recently a sum total of $425.00 per month in total support, accomplishing so much for God's glory. Visit our website at www.m300ministries.org to see what God has done.
Sound familiar to you? David was small in stature compared to Goliath but he rushed out there in the battle front like a Valiant Warrior and he said, "Who dares to defy the Living God?" He relied on God to defeat Goliath and in a swift moment with crude tools he took down Goliath and cut his head off lifting it up for all of the hoards to see. This is the spirit at M300 Ministries, a spirit of reliance upon God to work His good work in us and through us.
When Joseph was in Egypt and had two sons he named one of them Ephraim which when properly translated means, "Make me twice as fruitful in the land of my suffering." This is our plea to God, because it hurts where we are at and there are times that we suffer not only reproach, but also contempt. We say to God..."Make us twice as fruitful in the land of our suffering!" If there are others out there who excel in monetary terms then we know that they shall be accountable to you for your resources. If there are those out there who have your resources and they consume them on their own selves then they shall be accountable. We ask dear Lord make us accountable for what you place into our hands, our minds and our hearts so that in all things your name might be glorified among the nations.
This is the power of Godly influence that the Lord has given to us. Many ministries would say to a native pastor..."Go here or go there and we will pay you this much" In God we say things like this, "Amil (meaning in Urdu- "a friend closer than a brother") will you go to Iran and declare Jesus Christ to the people?" and the response is something along the lines of, "When does the first bus leave? I will go" This is Godly influence because you cannot pay a man sufficiently for him to consistently risk his life to share the Gospel. Money is a poor motivator and a cruel task master, but in God's economy of Godly influence a man can be influenced by God's leading to become a powerful witness unto the ends of the Earth.
The power in a click is like this. With the click of a button we can now donate virtually to any cause. With the power of a click we can choose to do good or to do evil. With the power of the click of a button we can bring shame or we can work to bring God glory. With the power of a click we can support an orphan or pay for a peep show. With the power of a click we can uplift someone or we can drag them through the mud. With the power of a click we can bring Glory to God or we can commit sin.
With the click of a button at M300 Ministries we can and have aided Haiti in ways that only God can be credited for. With the click of a button we have sent missionaries from Bangladesh to India. With the click of a button we have set in motion a plan to reach 10 Hindu villages in India in Feb. 2010 where the Gospel has not been preached. With the click of a button we have supported Festivals of Light in Pakistan, Bangladesh and this month in India. With the click of a button we have helped a pastor in Kenya, Africa with orphan support and making funds available to purchase cows and Bibles. In Kenya with the click of a button we have helped to organize pastor training conferences. With the click of a button we have let loose written prayers that fly like true arrows and find their mark to uplift heavily burdened souls.
With the click of a simple button you can help share the Gospel message of Jesus Christ, changing lives forever. With the click of a simple button you can help the people of Haiti or an orphaned child. How about clicking a button for good today? God can do this with or without you, but you have an opportunity to honor Him and bring glory to His name with just the click of a button. We have never had such power before in all of the history of manking. See the button...the power is in your hands go do good today.

Peter: Impulsive or Willing?
I have often considered Peter and how the Lord viewed Him. Most often we think of Peter as being the disciple with the following characteristics:
- The one who was Impulsive: Did things without thinking through the implications
- The one who simply did not comprehend Jesus on many occasions
- The one who denied Christ three times
- The one who cut the ear of the high servant off
- The one who did not want to go to the gentiles
- The one who told Christ not to wash his feet
Today I want to very briefly share with you a leading in the Lord to perhaps better understand why Peter was found to be of high caliber and of high value in ushering in Gods Kingdom on Earth. It is really very simple and yet a very hidden trait that Peter possessed which is highly prized in the eyes of God.
In large measure Peter was found to be of use and of esteemed value by Jesus because Peter was willing to do all that was asked of him. Do you not see it? What we often see as impulsiveness Jesus simply saw as willingness. Willingness to do and be whatever was asked of him. This is a highly valued quality from God's perspective. Do you have this quality? Oh that we would so that God could work through us even more. This seemingly impulsive and often confused Peter was the very one that Jesus said the following words to:
And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.
Did Peter always get it right? No! Peter on several occasions got it all wrong, but His heart of willingness "to do" was correct before the Lord.
Why do you suppose that Satan himself choose to sift Peter like wheat? Why not John? Why not James? Satan selected Peter for this very same quality of "willingness to do" the will of the Lord. Did Peter fail when he denied Christ not once, not twice but three times? I will let you determine this but I will tell you exactly what Jesus told him. Jesus told him:
LUKE: 22: 31-35
31"Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift you as wheat. 32But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers."
33But he replied, "Lord, I am ready to go with you to prison and to death."
34Jesus answered, "I tell you, Peter, before the rooster crows today, you will deny three times that you know me."
35Then Jesus asked them, "When I sent you without purse, bag or sandals, did you lack anything?"
"Nothing," they answered.
There was a time when Jesus saw in Peter a mindset that was not correct and Jesus rebuked Peter calling him Satan...
Mark 8:32-34
32He spoke plainly about this, and Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him.
33But when Jesus turned and looked at his disciples, he rebuked Peter. "Get behind me, Satan!" he said. "You do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men."
34Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.
Peter had just finished confessing that Jesus was the Christ but Peter did not comprehend the plan of God as it related to the suffering and death of Christ to redeem mankind. Peter was willing to stand up, but Peter did not always get it right.
Mark 14: 27-31
Jesus Predicts Peter's Denial
27"You will all fall away," Jesus told them, "for it is written:
" 'I will strike the shepherd,
and the sheep will be scattered.'c]" class="footnote">[c] 28But after I have risen, I will go ahead of you into Galilee."
29Peter declared, "Even if all fall away, I will not."
30"I tell you the truth," Jesus answered, "today??"yes, tonight??"before the rooster crows twice you yourself will disown me three times."
31But Peter insisted emphatically, "Even if I have to die with you, I will never disown you." And all the others said the same.
Peter did not always get things right but Peter was always willing. Even when he misunderstood when Jesus was washing the feet of the disciples as he told Jesus forbid it Lord that you should was my feet. When Jesus made it clear that if Peter did not allow Jesus to wash his feet that he could have not part in the kingdom Peter emphatically declared...wash my whole body Lord from the top of my head to the bottom of my feet.
When Jesus went to the disciples walking on water it was Peter stepped out of the boat walking on water. Most people focus on the fact that Peter's faith failed him and Jesus had to rescue him. Let us focus on another fact also:
- Peter was the only one willing to get out of the boat.
You see most of us are the types who will sit in the boat unwilling to step out in faith, but instantly ready to criticize any who would do so and seemingly fail. Let me take occasion to remind you that Peter did walk on water! Have you ever walked on water? Have you ever tried to walk on water? Jesus saw in Peter a blessed willingness to do the things of God with arms outstretched and heart abandoned to God. This was powerful and this is one of the reasons that Jesus used Peter in the book of Acts chapter 2 to establish His church. Peter was willing to speak? Peter was willing to lay down his own life? Peter was willing to look a fool in the eyes of men? Peter was simply willing to do all that was asked of him by the Lord Jesus Christ. Can you say the same thing? Are you willing to do all that the Lord Jesus Christ ask of you?
Look at why God found David to be a man after His own heart.
Acts 13:22
22After removing Saul, he made David their king. He testified concerning him: 'I have found David son of Jesse a man after my own heart; he will do everything I want him to do.'
God found that in David was a heart that would do everything that God wanted him to do. A sweet willingness. A manly willingness to abandon all at God's leading and to do all that is asked of him. A humble willingness to do. Even Jesus Christ said that he came to "do" the will of the Father. Many times the religious leaders of Israel were rebuked by Jesus because they were willing to bind heavy loads on others and then not to "do" them themselves. There are many hypocrites that continue with us today who gladly speak in voices of Pharisees and Scribes taking honor unto themselves and binding loads consisting of the "doctrines of men" on the Lord's followers. Is there place for sound doctrine? There had better be because Paul admonished Timothy to continue in sound doctrine. There is a distinct difference between the sound doctrine that comes from God and the loud doctrines of men.
A very strong part of following the Lord Jesus Christ is that willingness to hear His voice and to do all that He ask of us. Jesus declared himself as the Shepherd who speaks and He declared us who hear His voice as the sheep of His pasture who hear his voice and gladly follow Him.
John 10:2-4
2The man who enters by the gate is the shepherd of his sheep. 3The watchman opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. 4When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice.
Therefore God again set a certain day, calling it Today, when a long time later he spoke through David, as was said before: "Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts."
Becoming a follower of Christ is about hearing His voice and doing all that is asked of us. Does this describe your walk with the Good Shepherd or are you a sheep gone astray listening to the voice of the world or the voice of Satan? Have you been strapped down and deceived by the "doctrines of men"? If you hear his voice today do not harden your heart against doing his will but rather gladly receive his voice and his instruction doing all that He asked of you.
Being a faithful servant of Christ implies that we will hear his voice and do all that He ask of us. The voice of God never conflicts with His written word. The leading of the Holy Spirit is in perfect harmony with God's consistent voice through the Holy Scriptures. Be willing to do what God ask of you today. In the very beginning, in the garden there was only one simple command but they were not willing to obey it but to raise up and transgress against the will of a loving God. Today vain, haughty and proud men are willing to raise up against God. God is not willing that any should perish but a time of reckoning is soon coming. How does God see you today... Impulsive or willing?

DAVID GOT IT! AND THE LORD GOT DAVID!
This morning as I went about my 3 mile mountain walk at dawn several things happened and I want to share them with you. First of all I use this time to exercise, pray and praise. What I have found is that more often than not my prayer time turns to request or supplications. This morning as the sun dawned I started walking with a decision in my mind that I would seek to praise the Lord over the next 3 miles and over the next hour. I was well prepared having my favorite worship music loaded on my IPod so I set out. All went well until about mile 1 when I asked the Lord for something then returned to worship Him. Again at about mile 2 and before mile 2 1/2 I had made two other request. At about mile 2 3/4 I became a tad bit upset with myself for not having been able to keep my own decision to only engage in praise this morning. As I pounded the pavement and pounded my own self I thought to my self that King David had gotten the message to "Praise the Lord". I started to question myself about how many books of the Bible did King David write? Not being a theologian, I could not come up with a decisive number of books of the Bible that David had written. If you know the answer email it to me at wayne@m300ministries.org As these thoughts continue to flow I contemplated what I knew for sure and it was that David wrote most, if not all of the pslams. Contemplating the Pslams while listening to worship music and walking in the mountains I thought about how much David praised the LORD in the pslams and I lowered the boom on myself for having made request in the midst of a time of praise. I prayed again to the Lord and He whispered in my heart ..."Look again".
Arriving close to mile three it became clear that in the midst of praise is when David cried out with some of his most heart felt needs and desires laying them before the Lord in the midst of worship and praise. As I arrived home and skimmed through the Pslams it became apparent that our heavenly Father loves praise, He loves to be worshipped, He loves honor, He loves all glory which is rightfully his, but He also loves to receive our most heartfelt needs, request and suplications wrapped in praise and worship. At mile 3 was when I realized that what happened this morning was ok and is the most natural way to petition the Father through praise and worship.
Do I wish that I would have been able to only praise and worship this morning? Well I do have that desire but looking at Pslams I realized that although I have issues with what King David did with respect to Bathsheba and Uria I also realize that David's repentant heart GOT IT! David GOT IT because he loved to praise God and lift up His holy name. David GOT IT because he poured out his heart to the LORD with praise, honor, songs, pslams and yes even supplications and request. Since King David GOT IT! The LORD GOT HIM! also saying:
Acts 13:22
After removing Saul, he made David their king. He testified concerning him: 'I have found David son of Jesse a man after my own heart; he will do everything I want him to do.'
Do you GET IT today. This walk with God is a walk for our heart where we are to meet the LORD with integrity and a resound committment to do everything that the LORD wants for us to do. Where is your heart today as the world is in turmoil and headed to the brink? Where is your integrity and committment? Let it be in the LORD of host. Let Him find in you a heart after His own heart.
Commit to see how the LORD speaks to you today through these passages:
1 Kings 9:4
"As for you, if you walk before me in integrity of heart and uprightness, as David your father did, and do all I command and observe my decrees and laws,
1 Kings 11:4
As Solomon grew old, his wives turned his heart after other gods, and his heart was not fully devoted to the LORD his God, as the heart of David his father had been.
Psalm 78:72
And David shepherded them with integrity of heart; with skillful hands he led them.
Psalm 108:1
[ A song. A psalm of David. ] My heart is steadfast, O God; I will sing and make music with all my soul.
Acts 13:22
After removing Saul, he made David their king. He testified concerning him: 'I have found David son of Jesse a man after my own heart; he will do everything I want him to do.'
Be blessed today as God seeks His own heart within you.

NO SHOES, NO SHIRT, NO PROBLEM!
Having lived by faith, as a self supported missionary to Latin America and currently living as a "Drink Offering" has proven essential to working with a multiplicity of ethnic ministers and ethnic missionaries around the world. We have a unique vision related to THE VALIANT WARRIOR FUND. The unique vision is "NO SHOES, NO SHIRT, NO PROBLEM!"
"No shoes, No shirt, No problem!" may stir up memories of the great country singer Kenny Chesney, because he has a well known song by this title. At M300 Ministries we believe that before Kenny Chesney sang the song and made his millions, the Lord Jesus Christ had this same mindset as he selected his very own disciples. Jesus could clearly see the heart of all men. He bypassed the "self important religious men of His day" with their flowing ropes and beautiful temples, by conveying this mindset to the humble common men that He called... No shoes, No shirt, No problem!... "Follow me and I will make you fisher's of men". His Apostles echoed this mindset by setting out clearly what is and what is not important in serving God.
Matthew 6:25
[ Do Not Worry ] "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?
John 5:41
"I'm not interested in crowd approval. And do you know why? Because I know you and your crowds. I know that love, especially God's love, is not on your working agenda. I came with the authority of my Father, and you either dismiss me or avoid me. If another came, acting self-important, you would welcome him with open arms. How do you expect to get anywhere with God when you spend all your time jockeying for position with each other, ranking your rivals and ignoring God?
Romans 12:3
I'm speaking to you out of deep gratitude for all that God has given me, and especially as I have responsibilities in relation to you. Living then, as every one of you does, in pure grace, it's important that you not misinterpret yourselves as people who are bringing this goodness to God. No, God brings it all to you. The only accurate way to understand ourselves is by what God is and by what he does for us, not by what we are and what we do for him.
1 John 2:15
Don't love the world's ways. Don't love the world's goods. Love of the world squeezes out love for the Father. Practically everything that goes on in the world—wanting your own way, wanting everything for yourself, wanting to appear important—has nothing to do with the Father. It just isolates you from him. The world and all its wanting, wanting, wanting is on the way out—but whoever does what God wants is set for eternity.
Many have arrived at the erroneous mindset that a man cannot be a missionary if he does not have a PHD or a Doctorate in missions. The "professional missiologist" with the "newest fads" in our "advanced mission culture" are actively promoting things like:
- Ethnodoxology
- Kingdom Theology
- Missiology
- Missional Mindsets
- Missiologist
M300 Ministries has been given a unique vision and a unique mindset in the Lord which is based on God's simple truths. Many of the ethnic ministers who are a part of the Valiant Warrior Ministry literally have "NO SHOES, NO SHIRT, NO PROBLEM!"
Take a look at what some of them have said recently:
- INDIA: "The gospel is carried to the rural villages through the ministries of the Barefoot. When entering a village for the first time, the Barefoot Pastor works to build relationships and identify opportunities to share the gospel. With the acceptance and approval of the village leader, the Pastor is able to work openly. Praise be to God!"
- PAKISTAN: "The first time when I was talking with you, I was empty belly along with all of my family because we did not have anything to cook, nor anyone had money to buy anything to eat. The 2 pair of pants that I own cannnot be worn any longer. The shoes that I wear are in bad condition. There is cut in the sole and when I walk in the wet street, my socks also become wet. Extremist Muslims have issued a death threat against me, saying that it is too late to cry over spilled milk. I have fasted and prayed about this matter and God wants for me to stay in my country to share the Gospel and to encourage the brothers. It is all in all. Amen"
- BANGLADESH: "We have been living for a long time with a great shortage in our ministry support. We are short $150 dollars per month. We are praying that God will supply it, because it is fully half of our total support needs. We have been serving for more than 10 years sharing the Gospel with Muslims and Hindus. 3 of our Jesus Film crew were murdered by extremist Muslims a couple of years ago, while showing the Jesus film in an outlaying village. My wife and I have committed our life to preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ."
At M300 Ministries we have a "NO SHOES, NO SHIRT, NO PROBLEM!" mindset because we know that God calls whom He desires and He enables according to His Holy will. We have also walked in this mindset ourselves living out, "No shoes, No shirt, No problem!"
- Have you been wanting to serve in missions but you have been led to feel inadequate because you can't spell some of the words used by the "advanced mission culture"?
- Do you have to look up "their missional words" in "their Missiology publications" to arrive at a "missiologically educated definition" of words that can barely be pronounced by most missionaries who are actually serving in missions?
- Has God called you and spoke to your heart in such a way that you know, that you know, that He is calling you to missions and ministry?
- Is faith "a way of life" for you, as opposed to a term defined in a book somewhere?
- Most "Mission Agencies", Mission Training Institutes and many churches will not sponsor ethnic ministers or native missionaries. Have you ever wondered why?
Many leading mission training institutes and churches will not sponsor them because they are not U.S. citizens or green card holders. Some "missions leaders" say, "they simply cannot be trusted" or "we have been burnt before by the natives". Is it any wonder that the Gospel message is often hindered? Students who are blessed by the opportunity, often arrive to study at U.S. seminaries and Christian Colleges to obtain their "missionary credentials". Once "certified" they most often find that they cannot be sponsored as missionaries to foreign countries because of church or Christian institutional policies that only support U.S. citizens or U.S. Green Card holders.
Where does the "NO SHOES, NO SHIRT, NO PROBLEM!" vision really come from?
2 Samuel 23:17 (New International Version)
17 "Far be it from me, O LORD, to do this!" he said. "Is it not the blood of men who went at the risk of their lives?" And David would not drink it.
Such were the exploits of the three mighty men.
This is how the gospel is being shared by Valiant Warriors in India:
Imagine if Jesus had relegated the really important things to simple men like fishermen, carpenters and tax collectors. What would have become of His ministry? (Isn't that exactly what he did)

Our vision at M300 Ministries is unique and simple and it goes something like this: "No shoes, No Shirt, No Problem!"
"Give me three hundred "Mighty Warriors" who fear nothing but sin and desire nothing but to please God, they will shake the gates of Hell and set up the kingdom of Heaven upon Earth."
(Note: It is not our intention to deny the value of a Biblical education or degrade missionologist or PHD's, but it is our duty in the Lord to walk in His leading for M300 Ministries and The Valiant Warrior Ministry) |

A quote from Pastor Rao of India regarding ethnic or native pastors and ministers:
"Fulfilling Christ's command in India depends upon Indian men and women who have been called of God to make disciples. Indian men and women have far better access to India's people than the missionaries ever did, and they can do it in a way that makes sense to Indians. Every year, God is calling more and more dedicated Indian men and women to reach Indian people for Christ."
This is our goal to: "Live like Christ, Walk with Christ, work for Christ and die for Christ"

A Muslim girl in the Pakistani War Zone
Can you say NO! in Pakistan?
During the recent Historic Pakistani Christian Youth Rally held in the Pakistani War Zone Pastor Nadeem confronted this question, "How do you say NO! in Pakistan?" As it turns out this sweet innocent child began to follow Pastor Nadeem and some others around while in the area for the recently concluded youth rally. The full story is not fully shared as of yet, but the young girl expressed to Pastor Nadeem that she was from a local Muslim family and that she had specific needs.
Pastor Nadeem learned a bit more about her history and background including that of her family in the region and with this he became confronted with the question of, "How do you say NO! in Pakistan?" As a Christian Pastor can you say NO to the request of an innocent Muslim child? Can you say NO if you are concerned about possible activities of other family members? Although it cannot be expressed clearly here there were reasons to be concerned.
Can a Christian Pastor see such a Muslim child and hear the needs and the request and not respond? The answer became clear as the Holy Spirit led Pastor Nadeem's heart to reach out to this young Muslim girl with compassion and blessings. The young Muslim girl learned that Pastor Nadeem and the youth group were Christians and that as Christians they modeled the behavior of Jesus Christ, who said all of the following and also reached out with compassion and love. Can you say NO! to a Muslim child in Pakistan?
Matthew 21:14-16 (New International Version)
14The blind and the lame came to him at the temple, and he healed them. 15But when the chief priests and the teachers of the law saw the wonderful things he did and the children shouting in the temple area, "Hosanna to the Son of David," they were indignant.
16"Do you hear what these children are saying?" they asked him.
"Yes," replied Jesus, "have you never read,
" 'From the lips of children and infants
you have ordained praise'?"
Mark 9:37 (New International Version)
37"Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me."
Mark 10:13-16 (New International Version)
The Little Children and Jesus
13People were bringing little children to Jesus to have him touch them, but the disciples rebuked them. 14When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. 15I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it." 16And he took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them.
Luke 10:21 (New International Version)
21At that time Jesus, full of joy through the Holy Spirit, said, "I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this was your good pleasure.
Luke 18:16 (New International Version)
16But Jesus called the children to him and said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.

Deuteronomy 7:21
Do not be terrified by them, for the LORD your God, who is among you, is a great and awesome God.
So how do we measure up when it comes to the "FEAR FACTOR" in serving our Lord? Recently a historic Christian youth rally was held in Pakistan. Pakistan shares a common border with Afghanistan and it is in this mountainous region where Taliban radicals make their home and training camps. This area of Pakistan is commonly called the tribal region and is often in the world news. This is a place where U.S. Predator Drones reportedly are on the prowl searching for Taliban terrorist targets. This is certainly the area farther northwest from the Swat Valley and the area that is reported to be the hiding place of top Taliban insurgents. How would you like to organize and host a Christian youth rally in the remote mountainous tribal region of Pakistan? How do you organize and invite Christians from all around the 95% Muslim dominated country of Pakistan to secretly attend? How do you plan such an event? Why would you even consider it?
M300 Ministries was asked to support a historic youth rally in Pakistan and readily agreed. M300 Ministries was not fully aware of the location of the event but assumed that since it was being held in Pakistan that there would be a certain amount of risk as there is associated with holding a Christian event in a Muslim dominated country. The back drop to this historic Pakistani Christian Youth Rally was that in June Christians were attacked by a mob and doused with acid. Their homes were burnt to the ground and their possessions taken by force. If this were not sufficient to create a
fear factor a month later two more mob attacks happened in and near Gorja, Punjab Pakistan. Christians were killed, beaten, maimed and some were burnt alive as Muslim extremist violently attacked the Christian minority on reported false pretense of a violation of the blasphemy laws of Pakistan. With this back drop it was decided to not report on this youth rally with any specific information until after it had been completed.
It was not until after the completion of the Historic Christian Youth Rally that it became clear exactly when and where the event had been held. Pastor Nadeem who participated in the historic youth rally reported with some detail on the event and it became apparent that the event was indeed held in the remote mountainous tribal area of Pakistan nearer to the border area with Afghanistan. When asked, "Why in the world would you plan and hold a Christian Youth Rally in such a dangerous area?" This was Pastor Nadeem's casual, candid, honest and matter of fact answer, "This is exactly where it was most needed."
Wow many of us in the Lord have much to learn and much to admire in our brothers who serve in difficult regions of the earth. For those who serve living in principalities that are at times "deadly" or "hostile" to Christianity we should constantly be in prayer. "This is exactly where it was most needed", has been ringing in my ears since Pastor Nadeem and I spoke about this. I pray that we will all have such faith in coming times. Pastor Nadeem once told me that he relies directly on the Holy Spirit to lead in him making decisions about when, where, how, when and to whom to preach. He relates that this matter is too important to leave to human intuition or human reasoning. It is something that the "gift of God to Christians", the Holy Spirit, has no problem determining and expressing clearly. Pastor Nadeem remarks that that if he goes on his own intuition and his own human reasoning when planning an event or a "gospel outreach" then he is at tremendous peril but if he relies on the Holy Spirit to guide him then he is confident in the Lords leading in all things. If he relies on his own reasoning while living and ministering in Pakistan it could easily cost him his life. Pastor Nadeem currently lives under a death threat but he remarks that his calling is to preach the Gospel to Pakistan and that if he were to leave Pakistan then he would not honor his calling and he would not be Pastor Nadeem any longer but he would be "one who left". Pastor Nadeem adds that he is more fearful of what God could do to him if he bolted and ran for his life, than he is to continue to be guided by the Holy Spirit of God, which it God's unique gift to Christians and is God's own spirit which lives uniquely inside of Christians as a helper, guide and counselor.
It is in this way that Pastor Nadeem and other Christian leaders were guided by the Holy Spirit to hold the Historic Pakistani Youth Rally where it was most needed in the conflict zone, in the war zone, in the camp of aggressor. In the United States the native indians had a unique way to show that they were victorious and could move among other tribes at will. They called this "Counting Coup" and it was effective as a way to show strength with honor without violence. The indian tribe would count coup on an enemy by sending a few brave warriors to sneak into an enemy tribe's camp and either take something that was symbolic to that tribe or leave something from their own tribe to let the enemy tribe know that they had been there. In a very spiritual way perhaps the Holy Spirit just counted coup inside of the tribal region of Pakistan saying, "Do not be terrified by them, for the LORD your God, who is among you, is a great and awesome God."
Deuteronomy 7:21
Pastor Nadeem reports that God was awesome in that place and that His presense was great. As our mighty God it was awesome to come into His presence in that place. Recognizing that our God is an awesome God. It was awesome to praise the Father in that place, surrounded by Pakistani Christian Youth and Christian Pastors. Friendship with God and our brothers was a central theme of the youth rally with God providing peace and security for the youth camp in the midst of a war zone. Pastor Nadeem reports that in Pakistan Christians can easily get into trouble for things that they do not do, so the Holy Spirit is strong to say that there are things that Christians are supposed to do including meeting together to encourage each other and this is what they have done and will continue to do.

Have you ever felt like a tree growing out of a rock?
1 Samuel 2:2
"There is no one holy like the LORD; there is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God.
There are times in our walk with the Lord that we just don't feel like we are in a lush tropical rain forest. In September, Lord willing, I will be going on a mission trip to Brazil. I am extremely excited about this particular mission trip as it comes on the heals of returning from an awesome mission trip to Thailand in June 2009. So you ask, "What up with feeling like a tree growing out of a rock?" Let me be frank today and share with you a bit.
Before I left for Thailand I had one planter's wart appear on my right foot but there was not time to have it removed before the Thailand mission trip so I resigned myself to walk through it and to have it removed when I returned. As the Thailand mission trip progressed the Lord was very present and very active in all that we did. Many people were blessed and many people learned about the Lord. God showed people his grace and his mercy. While on this mission trip I received word that my mother had been taken to the hospital in critical condition and was on life support. We had traveled here as a group so all travel was booked as a group. The ability to change the travel planning and attempt to return from the other side of the world to see my mother on life support was daunting and beyond my reach financially. As I prayed to the Lord about all of this asking him for direction and guidance on what I should do he showed me this scene in my mind as he spoke the words, "Peace be still"

"PEACE BE STILL"
Psalm 107:28-30 (New International Version)
28 Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble,
and he brought them out of their distress.
29 He stilled the storm to a whisper;
the waves of the sea were hushed.
30 They were glad when it grew calm,
and he guided them to their desired haven.
Luke 8:24-25 (New International Version)
24The disciples went and woke him, saying, "Master, Master, we're going to drown!"
He got up and rebuked the wind and the raging waters; the storm subsided, and all was calm. 25"Where is your faith?" he asked his disciples.
In fear and amazement they asked one another, "Who is this? He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him."
How was I to interpret "Peace be still", from Thailand, with my mother on life support in a hospital in Louisiana, USA? Exactly as the Lord had said, "Peace be still". To me this meant that I was to have a peace about this in the midst of the storm and that it was not going to be possible to get Louisiana before my mother died. So the instruction was clear, "Peace be still" (Stay where you are, be at peace, I have it under my control) It was just this clear and just this resolute with the Lord having gotten up and calmly walked to the front of the boat while the rest of us were in dismay at the storms and waves crashing over the bow of the small boat that we were in. Then Jesus calmly spoke with authority and love and said, "Peace be still". It was then that the waves of worry, fret, concern and uncertainty ceased instantly. This is the authority that the Lord Jesus has in the life of the Christian believer who submits all things to his control and his power. This is how the "peace that passes understanding" is imparted with the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.
I have to say thank you to others who were on the mission trip who prayed and who showed concern, love and sympathy with me and to me and my family. It was however odd to be "at peace" in this situation with a peace beyond understanding.
When I spoke next to my siblings and my father I was told that a decision needed to be made with regard to if or when to remove my mother from life support. The prognosis for recovery from the doctors was that if she survived being removed from life support that she would never leave the hospital but would remain comatose and on full life support. What do you do? What do you say from Thailand? My mind flashed back to when I was 16 years old and having recently became a Christian I shared the Gospel with my mother and then blessedly had the opportunity to baptize my own mother. Inwardly at age 45 I chuckled at the thought of a 16 year old baptizing his own mother and then truth and realization set in that this was the image that the Lord wanted for me to have of my mother. An image of a time some time back when she gave her life to him. "Peace be still" confirms that she is in his care and under his tender mercy. I spoke to my father and siblings via Skype on a laptop computer from the other side of the world and told them that I was at peace with everything and that my final visit with my mother was sufficient and "all in all" so that I did notso feel that I had to try to vainly rush from the other side of the world to see her removed from life support. As it turns out she was removed from life support soon after and her body could not sustain her and with this she passed quickly from "life to LIFE" not tasting of death. Get me on this...the Christian does not taste death.
I Corinthians 15- 55"Where, O death, is your victory?
Where, O death, is your sting?"h]" class="footnote">[h] 56The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
The Christian passes from "life to LIFE" from the little l to the big L by the grace of God. I didn't really intend to bring you here today to hear the story of my mother's death while I was away on a mission trip to Thailand so I will close on this chapter of thought by sharing with you that my mother did die phyisically and passed from "life to LIFE" while I was gone. She was also waked and buried while I was in Thailand. It all happened so quickly as the life support was removed she was waked and buried. Somehow God communicated to me that I was to be at peace about this because somehow in an odd way it was "fitting" for me to be "on mission" on the other side of the world when this happened. See I have always been about missions and ministry. This is my giftedness from the Lord so the Lord brought this thought to my heart in a new light.
Luke 18:28-30
28Peter said to him, "We have left all we had to follow you!"
29"I tell you the truth," Jesus said to them, "no one who has left home or wife or brothers or parents or children for the sake of the kingdom of God30will fail to receive many times as much in this age and, in the age to come, eternal life."
Exactly when my mother passed from "life to LIFE" this is where I was at and what I was doing:
Visiting Oprhans at the Tribal House of Blessings Children's Home, Thailand
Showing Grace in "The Land of Smiles"
In Thailand we also shared the story of Jesus Christ and the Good News with Buddhist and Islamist. I never saw my mother again on this side of the equation but I am assured that the other side of the equation is the eternal side and shortly all of us who are found in Christ will pass from "life to LIFE" as well entering into the blessed eternal equation to be in the presence of the Lord.
I do want to request your prayers for M300 Ministries and for my family as we walk in this calling. Specific prayer request:
1). It is sort of embarrasing but Planter's warts have increased from 1 painful one, to now 7, with no time for treatment and recovery before Brazil mission trip. Pray that the Lord will heal or alternatively that God's glory will somehow be magnified if they are not healed.
2). That the Lord will enable M300 Ministries with equiping both spiritually and financially. (No one gives)
3). That God will be glorified in all that we do and all that we put our hand to as we are assured of this one thing:
Romans 11:29 for God's gifts and his call are irrevocable.
So why a tree growing out of a Rock? Take a look at these scriptures and let the Holy Spirit reveal the answers to you!
Exodus 33:21-23 (New International Version)
21 Then the LORD said, "There is a place near me where you may stand on a rock. 22 When my glory passes by, I will put you in a cleft in the rock and cover you with my hand until I have passed by. 23 Then I will remove my hand and you will see my back; but my face must not be seen."
Numbers 23:9
From the rocky peaks I see them, from the heights I view them. I see a people who live apart and do not consider themselves one of the nations.
Numbers 20:9-11 (New International Version)
9 So Moses took the staff from the LORD's presence, just as he commanded him. 10 He and Aaron gathered the assembly together in front of the rock and Moses said to them, "Listen, you rebels, must we bring you water out of this rock?" 11 Then Moses raised his arm and struck the rock twice with his staff. Water gushed out, and the community and their livestock drank.
Genesis 49:24
But his bow remained steady, his strong arms stayed limber, because of the hand of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,
Deuteronomy 32 (New International Version)
Deuteronomy 32
1 Listen, O heavens, and I will speak;
hear, O earth, the words of my mouth.
2 Let my teaching fall like rain
and my words descend like dew,
like showers on new grass,
like abundant rain on tender plants.
3 I will proclaim the name of the LORD.
Oh, praise the greatness of our God!
4 He is the Rock, his works are perfect,
and all his ways are just.
A faithful God who does no wrong,
upright and just is he.
5 They have acted corruptly toward him;
to their shame they are no longer his children,
but a warped and crooked generation. a]" class="footnote">[a]
6 Is this the way you repay the LORD,
O foolish and unwise people?
Is he not your Father, your Creator, b]" class="footnote">[b]
who made you and formed you?
7 Remember the days of old;
consider the generations long past.
Ask your father and he will tell you,
your elders, and they will explain to you.
8 When the Most High gave the nations their inheritance,
when he divided all mankind,
he set up boundaries for the peoples
according to the number of the sons of Israel. c]" class="footnote">[c]
9 For the LORD's portion is his people,
Jacob his allotted inheritance.
10 In a desert land he found him,
in a barren and howling waste.
He shielded him and cared for him;
he guarded him as the apple of his eye,
11 like an eagle that stirs up its nest
and hovers over its young,
that spreads its wings to catch them
and carries them on its pinions.
12 The LORD alone led him;
no foreign god was with him.
13 He made him ride on the heights of the land
and fed him with the fruit of the fields.
He nourished him with honey from the rock,
and with oil from the flinty crag,
14 with curds and milk from herd and flock
and with fattened lambs and goats,
with choice rams of Bashan
and the finest kernels of wheat.
You drank the foaming blood of the grape.
15 Jeshurun d]" class="footnote">[d] grew fat and kicked;
filled with food, he became heavy and sleek.
He abandoned the God who made him
and rejected the Rock his Savior.
16 They made him jealous with their foreign gods
and angered him with their detestable idols.
17 They sacrificed to demons, which are not God—
gods they had not known,
gods that recently appeared,
gods your fathers did not fear.
18 You deserted the Rock, who fathered you;
you forgot the God who gave you birth.
19 The LORD saw this and rejected them
because he was angered by his sons and daughters.
20 "I will hide my face from them," he said,
"and see what their end will be;
for they are a perverse generation,
children who are unfaithful.
21 They made me jealous by what is no god
and angered me with their worthless idols.
I will make them envious by those who are not a people;
I will make them angry by a nation that has no understanding.
22 For a fire has been kindled by my wrath,
one that burns to the realm of death e]" class="footnote">[e] below.
It will devour the earth and its harvests
and set afire the foundations of the mountains.
23 "I will heap calamities upon them
and spend my arrows against them.
24 I will send wasting famine against them,
consuming pestilence and deadly plague;
I will send against them the fangs of wild beasts,
the venom of vipers that glide in the dust.
25 In the street the sword will make them childless;
in their homes terror will reign.
Young men and young women will perish,
infants and gray-haired men.
26 I said I would scatter them
and blot out their memory from mankind,
27 but I dreaded the taunt of the enemy,
lest the adversary misunderstand
and say, 'Our hand has triumphed;
the LORD has not done all this.' "
28 They are a nation without sense,
there is no discernment in them.
29 If only they were wise and would understand this
and discern what their end will be!
30 How could one man chase a thousand,
or two put ten thousand to flight,
unless their Rock had sold them,
unless the LORD had given them up?
31 For their rock is not like our Rock,
as even our enemies concede.
32 Their vine comes from the vine of Sodom
and from the fields of Gomorrah.
Their grapes are filled with poison,
and their clusters with bitterness.
33 Their wine is the venom of serpents,
the deadly poison of cobras.
34 "Have I not kept this in reserve
and sealed it in my vaults?
35 It is mine to avenge; I will repay.
In due time their foot will slip;
their day of disaster is near
and their doom rushes upon them."
36 The LORD will judge his people
and have compassion on his servants
when he sees their strength is gone
and no one is left, slave or free.
37 He will say: "Now where are their gods,
the rock they took refuge in,
38 the gods who ate the fat of their sacrifices
and drank the wine of their drink offerings?
Let them rise up to help you!
Let them give you shelter!
39 "See now that I myself am He!
There is no god besides me.
I put to death and I bring to life,
I have wounded and I will heal,
and no one can deliver out of my hand.
40 I lift my hand to heaven and declare:
As surely as I live forever,
41 when I sharpen my flashing sword
and my hand grasps it in judgment,
I will take vengeance on my adversaries
and repay those who hate me.
42 I will make my arrows drunk with blood,
while my sword devours flesh:
the blood of the slain and the captives,
the heads of the enemy leaders."
43 Rejoice, O nations, with his people, f]" class="footnote">[f] , g]" class="footnote">[g]
for he will avenge the blood of his servants;
he will take vengeance on his enemies
and make atonement for his land and people.
44 Moses came with Joshua h]" class="footnote">[h] son of Nun and spoke all the words of this song in the hearing of the people. 45 When Moses finished reciting all these words to all Israel, 46 he said to them, "Take to heart all the words I have solemnly declared to you this day, so that you may command your children to obey carefully all the words of this law. 47 They are not just idle words for you—they are your life. By them you will live long in the land you are crossing the Jordan to possess."
Moses to Die on Mount Nebo
48 On that same day the LORD told Moses, 49 "Go up into the Abarim Range to Mount Nebo in Moab, across from Jericho, and view Canaan, the land I am giving the Israelites as their own possession. 50 There on the mountain that you have climbed you will die and be gathered to your people, just as your brother Aaron died on Mount Hor and was gathered to his people. 51 This is because both of you broke faith with me in the presence of the Israelites at the waters of Meribah Kadesh in the Desert of Zin and because you did not uphold my holiness among the Israelites. 52 Therefore, you will see the land only from a distance; you will not enter the land I am giving to the people of Israel."

Deception Through False Signs And Wonders
Guest Commentary by: Zac Poonen
There is a lot of deception in Christendom these days through false signs and wonders – just as Jesus warned us in Matthew 24:24, and as Paul did in 2 Thessalonians 2:9.
Paul also warned us in 2 Corinthians 11:1-4 about the nature of this deception: It is being deceived by another Jesus, another spirit and another gospel.
• "Another Jesus" – who does not ask anyone to take up his cross and to die to his self-life daily.
• "Another spirit" – who gives people thrills and exciting feelings but does not give them power to be holy.
• "Another gospel" – that requires no repentance and that caters to people’s earthly needs but does not deliver them from sin (which is the root-cause of ALL their problems).
Thus people are being made “twofold the children of hell” (Matt.23:15).
To escape deception, we must look at Jesus and see how today’s preachers compare with Him.
1. Do they have the same primary objective?
The very FIRST promise in the New Testament is "Jesus - He will save His people from their sins" (Matt.1:21). This is the main purpose with which Jesus came to earth. So a truly Spirit- led ministry will seek to free people from sinning. Everything else – including healing and miracles and prophecy will be secondary.
2. Do they have the same attitude?
We are commanded in Scripture: “Let this attitude be in you which was in Christ Jesus” (Phil.2:5). We should therefore compare the attitude of every preacher with that of Jesus. We should ask ourselves these questions about every preacher we hear:
(i) Is he a humble man - as Jesus was?
(ii) Does he lead people to freedom from sin and genuine holiness – as Jesus did?
(iii) Does he ask people to give money to him or to his ministry? Jesus never did.
(iv) Can ordinary, poor people contact him easily – as they could contact Jesus?
For further confirmation, we could ask these questions as well:
(a) Does he lead people to Christ – and not to himself?
(b) Are his children God-fearing?
(c) Has he built at least one godly church?
(d) Are his main co-workers godly men?
3. Do they have the same approach to healing?
In the Gospels, we do not read of Jesus preaching even one sermon on how to receive miracles or healing. But He actually healed thousands of people.
But what we find today (especially over Christian TV) is the exact opposite of this: We hear hundreds of sermons on miracles and healings – but we hardly ever see any genuine, miraculous healings. Most of the so-called “healings” shown over TV have proven to be fakes or unsubstantiated by independent sources.
Jesus and the apostles did however speak a lot about being free from sin. But we hardly ever hear a sermon today (over TV or from church pulpits) on how to be free from sins like anger, lusting after women and the love of money (as Jesus preached in Matthew chapters 5 and 6).
In Scripture, there is a name for anything that is the opposite of what Christ did: “anti-Christ”. Today, this spirit of antichrist has spread widely in evangelical Christendom. This is one proof that Satan has penetrated Christendom deeply with deception.
Why does God allow deceivers among His people?
In Deuteronomy 13:1-3, we are told why God allows such deceivers to move freely among His people:
“If a prophet arises among you and gives you a sign or a wonder, and the sign or the wonder comes true, concerning which he spoke to you, saying, `Let us go after other gods and let us serve them,' you shall not listen to the words of that prophet; for the LORD your God is testing you to find out if you love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul”.
God allows false prophets to do real signs and wonders and to prophesy things that come true, in order to test His children – to see whether they love Him or the gods that the false prophets invite them to follow. Two of the main gods that false prophets invite Christians to follow these days are the gods of “money” and “entertainment”.
• Money. People are urged to seek for wealth and health by giving money to the preacher’s ministry. Peter however rebuked the magician Simon when he tried to give Peter money in order to purchase God’s gifts (Acts 8:18-23).
• Entertainment. Churches have become places of entertainment where worldly music styles and other worldly programs are promoted to attract people. Thus Satan (the ruler of this world system) has succeeded in making Christians worldly-minded and ineffective for God.
Millions of Christians follow the teachings of these false prophets today because such teachings satisfy their fleshly lusts. Thus these false gods have become the idols that Christians worship in most churches today.
He who has ears to hear let him hear.
