 | NO SHOES, NO SHIRT, NO PROBLEM!
Having lived by faith, as a self supported missionary to Latin America and currently living as a "Drink Offering" has proven essential to working with a multiplicity of ethnic ministers and ethnic missionaries around the world. At M300 Ministries the Lord has given us a unique and simple vision that cries out saying..."NO SHOES, NO SHIRT, NO PROBLEM!"
"No shoes, No shirt, No problem!" may stir up memories of the great country singer Kenny Chesney, because he has a well known song by this title. At M300 Ministries we believe that before Kenny Chesney sang the song and made his millions, the Lord Jesus Christ had this same mindset as he selected his very own disciples. Jesus could clearly see the hearts of all men. He bypassed the "self important religious men of His day" with their flowing ropes and beautiful temples, by conveying this mindset to the humble common men that He called to become His disciples... No shoes, No shirt, No problem!... "Follow me and I will make you fisher's of men". His Apostles echoed this mindset by setting out clearly what is and what is not important in serving God!

Matthew 6:25
[ Do Not Worry ] "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?
John 5:41
"I'm not interested in crowd approval. And do you know why? Because I know you and your crowds. I know that love, especially God's love, is not on your working agenda. I came with the authority of my Father, and you either dismiss me or avoid me. If another came, acting self-important, you would welcome him with open arms. How do you expect to get anywhere with God when you spend all your time jockeying for position with each other, ranking your rivals and ignoring God?
Romans 12:3
I'm speaking to you out of deep gratitude for all that God has given me, and especially as I have responsibilities in relation to you. Living then, as every one of you does, in pure grace, it's important that you not misinterpret yourselves as people who are bringing this goodness to God. No, God brings it all to you. The only accurate way to understand ourselves is by what God is and by what he does for us, not by what we are and what we do for him.
1 John 2:15
Don't love the world's ways. Don't love the world's goods. Love of the world squeezes out love for the Father. Practically everything that goes on in the world—wanting your own way, wanting everything for yourself, wanting to appear important—has nothing to do with the Father. It just isolates you from him. The world and all its wanting, wanting, wanting is on the way out—but whoever does what God wants is set for eternity.
Many have arrived at the erroneous mindset that a man cannot be a missionary if he does not have a PHD or a Doctorate in missions. The "professional missiologist" with the "newest fads" in our "advanced mission culture" are actively promoting things like:
- Ethnodoxology
- Kingdom Theology
- Missiology
- Missional Mindsets
- Missiologist
M300 Ministries has been given a unique vision and a unique mindset in the Lord which is based on God's simple truths. Many of the ethnic ministers who are a part of M300 Ministries literally have "NO SHOES, NO SHIRT, NO PROBLEM!"
Take a look at what some of them have said recently:
- INDIA: "The gospel is carried to the impoverished rural villages by barefoot pastors. When entering a poor village for the first time, the Barefoot Pastor works to build relationships and identify opportunities to share the gospel. With the acceptance and approval of the village leader, the barefoot Pastor is able to work openly. Praise be to God! We call it "Barefoot Ministries"
- PAKISTAN: "The first time when I was talking with you, I was empty belly along with all of my family because we did not have anything to cook, nor anyone had money to buy anything to eat. The 2 pair of pants that I own cannnot be worn any longer. The shoes that I wear are in bad condition. There is cut in the sole and when I walk in the wet street, my socks also become wet. Extremist Muslims have issued a death threat against me, saying that it is too late to cry over spilled milk. I have fasted and prayed about this matter and God wants for me to stay in my country to share the Gospel and to encourage the brothers. It is all in all. Amen"
- BANGLADESH: "We have been living for a long time with a great shortage in our ministry support. We are short $150 dollars per month. We are praying that God will supply it, because it is fully half of our total support needs. We have been serving for more than 10 years sharing the Gospel with Muslims and Hindus. 3 of our Jesus Film crew were murdered by extremist Muslims a couple of years ago, while showing the Jesus film in an outlaying village. My wife and I have committed our life to preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ."
- AFRICA: "God spoke to me three words “ Come to Me". I obeyed. I am not supported in any way from any body, institution or person but from a few believers in the local church that the Lord is establishing through my ministry. They contribute offerings which I usually use to administer and do Gods work. By elemental plain truths the gospel is firing and increasing at an unprecedented rate in all areas."
At M300 Ministries we have a "NO SHOES, NO SHIRT, NO PROBLEM!" mindset because we know that God calls whom He desires and He enables according to His Holy will. We have also walked in this mindset ourselves living out, "No shoes, No shirt, No problem!"
- Have you been wanting to serve in missions but you have been led to feel inadequate because you can't spell some of the words used by the "advanced mission culture"?
- Do you have to look up "their missional words" in "their Missiology publications" to arrive at a "missiologically educated definition" of words that can barely be pronounced by most missionaries who are actually serving in missions?
- Has God called you and spoke to your heart in such a way that you know, that you know, that He is calling you to missions and ministry?
- Is faith "a way of life" for you, as opposed to a term defined in a book somewhere?
- Most "Mission Agencies", Mission Training Institutes and many churches will not sponsor ethnic ministers or native missionaries. Have you ever wondered why?
Many leading mission training institutes and churches will not sponsor them because they are not U.S. citizens or green card holders. Some "missions leaders" say, "they simply cannot be trusted" or "we have been burnt before by the natives". Is it any wonder that the Gospel message is often hindered? Students who are blessed by the opportunity, often arrive to study at U.S. seminaries and Christian Colleges to obtain their "missionary credentials". Once "certified" they most often find that they cannot be sponsored as missionaries to foreign countries because of church or Christian institutional policies that only support U.S. citizens or U.S. Green Card holders.
Imagine if Jesus had relegated the really important things to simple men like fishermen, carpenters and tax collectors. What would have become of His ministry? (Isn't that exactly what he did)
"No shoes, No Shirt, No Problem!"
"Give me three hundred "Mighty Warriors" who fear nothing but sin and desire nothing but to please God, they will shake the gates of Hell and set up the kingdom of Heaven upon Earth."
(Note: It is not our intention to degrade the value of a PHD or Doctorate or to degrade missionologist or PHD's, but rather it is our duty in the Lord to express His unique perspective, unquie calling, unique equipping and unique leading for M300 Ministries and The Valiant Warrior Ministry) |

A quote from Pastor Rao (BMI) reflecting the unique mindset of the "Barefoot Ministries" in India:
"Fulfilling Christ's command in India depends upon Indian men and women who have been called of God to make disciples. Indian men and women have far better access to India's people than the missionaries ever did, and they can do it in a way that makes sense to Indians. Every year, God is calling more and more dedicated Indian men and women to reach Indian people for Christ."
This is our goal to: "Live like Christ, Walk with Christ, work for Christ and die for Christ"
