The picture above is one of the many thousands of dragons or serpents that guard Buddhism in Thailand. It is said that the animals came to the Buddha and asked to be enlightened by the Buddha. The Buddha told the animals that they did not have a soul like a human so they could not benefit from being enlightened. It is said that when the dragon or serpent was told this that he responded with a request to at least be allowed to participate in Buddhism by being a protector of the temples. It was agreed and so for thousands of years many dragons or serpents guard the entrances to the temples. Actually the Buddhist have to request permission from the dragon or serpent in order to enter the temple to worship or ask questions of the monks. Sounds odd to us and actually it is odd. How would you life a serpent protecting your local church and you having to ask permission first of the serpent in order to be able to speak with your pastor or minister? This is how it is in Buddhism in Thailand, the serpent guards the temple.
In actual Bible studies with a Buddhist observants, they were amazed at the simple and easy to understand truths contained in God's word. When asked to read a few paragraphs of scripture they would read the page before, the page of and a few pages ahead. The thirst was evident, the delusion is great, the battle was on!
Just when you think that you and the reader are on the same page, something like "Karma" rears it's ugly head and you deal with it. Then the multiple God reveals itself in the delusion. They say..."Yes I believe God.. I believe all." As your heart leaps to rejoice with them then they speak up with words of confusion and words of delusion saying..." I also believe the One God sent Buddha, he sent Muhammad, he sent all who speak good things and we listen to all...yes we believe all.
What a dark delusion. What a darkened understanding. Do all speak the same message of God, the simple truth? No they do not. Each speaks his own message that at times seems to blend and then boom, there it is, the lie implanted as the tare is planted with the wheat.
