MICHAEL's TESTIMONY FROM KENYA, AFRICA,

I am Michael, I was born into and raised by a very loving and caring  Muslim family.  I grew up with a strong foundation of Islamic teachings and they were near and dear to my heart. I believed, as I was taught that the Muslim faith was the "true faith" upon the face of the earth. I was also taught that "The Prophet Muhammad" was the only true prophet sent by Allah to establish the "only true religion" of Muslims, which is Islam.

Tearfully, if I were to write the full testimony of our family life in believing in the teachings of Islam by writing with my pen and paper, there would not be enough volumes of pages or tears with which to accommodate all of my testimony.

I thank God who has graciously freed me from a heinous bondage and the religious chains of Islam that were wrapped around me since the years of my youth.

After analyzing numerous historical pieces on Muhammad and the establishment of the Muslim faith, and lastly all of the teachings and doctrines, I put all of the pieces together and I was completely shocked at the picture that was before me.

I could no longer deny the facts. I now understood that for me the Islamic faith that I had grown up in and loved was "a counterfeit religion" with a "false prophet". I  had been deceived, by my fervent prayers were answered by meeting pastor John.

To pinpoint the core of my testimony allow me to continue, May I always highly thank and praise my God who redeemed me (not Allah) because my God is omniscience….(that is that He has the capacity to know everything infinitely, or at least everything that can be known about a character including thoughts, feelings, life and the universe, etc) Isaiah 40:14, secret is of God. Deuteronomy…29:29, God is impartiality Acts 10:34-35.

I  must believe with all of my heart each of the all Bible passages that I have mentioned herein and preached unto me by my heart  compassionate pastor John. My favorite verse which conquered my heart was Romans 8:28-29.

 ²⁸And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

 ²⁹For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

When I met pastor John in the hospital he came into my confined room and to my sick-bed. When I saw him, my heart started pumping with joy, and my face-countenance of pains immediately started to receiving relieving. Pastor John saluted us in the biblical zeal saying – "Praise be to God!"

I certainly recognized him as the Lord’s Servant ( pastor) he had a pocket bible in his hand and began praying for all of the patients of the room. He prayed for each one to receive instantly God’s healing- I was adoringly drawn to him in much concern. We amazingly spoke for 30 minutes discussing about the God of the Bible.

I felt a great darkness of despair which engulfed my heart. I felt  removed from my body and felt as if I were seeing a vision or a dream accompanied with a soft sound telling me these words, "If you  hear His voice heed it……2 Corinthians 6:2, Hebrew 3:7-8.

Be Faithful

Lastly we were reading Bible passages with "my redeemer pastor John" (the pastor show shared "Who is the Christ?" with me) which called me into an appointment and a time of decision to publicly confession of my belief in Jesus as Lord over my life.

 Pastor John prayed for me asking God to enroll me into His eternal Book of Life and to sanctify me into His Holy kingdom and His Holy ministry call to me. He called me to tell others of His good attributes to His creations because He alone is the God of love and goodness and mercy.

I requested pastor John to support me with the true Bible and other materials to help me in my spiritual growth. He assured me that we have to pray for it 1 john 5:13-15 by reading and heeding upon God’s promises verses- he (pastor) is going solicits requests to brothers and sisters to support through God’s touching spirit.

¹³ These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.

Confidence and Compassion in Prayer

¹⁴ Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. ¹⁵ And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

A few days later and I have truly seen our prayers answered. May God perfectly bless those individuals or ministries who have totally touched and graciously given help to me so that I might have the Word of God, the True Bible in my hand.

I have promise to  get to my family who still don't know about Jesus as Lord and to tell them the truths that I have received. I will teach them the truth that they might be set free and lead them also to change their hearts toward the true God. Pray for me and consider for more Bibles to give to them.

Also pray for pastor John ‘s efforts to reach more immediate an distant religions which have rapidly arisen in multiplication which surrounds his church zone.

I truly received his phone call on Saturday afternoon 3.pm telling me to attend his church to collect my gifts of Bibles which God blessed me from "A friend".  Honestly on Sunday I attended his church in time and I enjoyed the fellowship with other saints. Even the church was visited by other servants where also I was surprised to see the halted preached preaching- his two legs were completely lamed walking by supporting of two wooden crutches.
