The Power Of Prayers
Take the pledge to pray for us and this ministry
You simply cannot fully know the fullness of the power in your prayers. I thank you. This week has been a great struggle within my spirit. I started on Sunday to pray in Jesus name to bind powers that stand against us and this ministry. I started to ask that in Jesus name that Angels would encamp around us and all who stand with us. On Monday I started to sense the resistance to that prayer. I started to feel it in my body with old pains returning. Sickness of stomach returning. Things that are not of God, but are of the resistance. I know that it is not a light thing to pray against spiritual principalities and powers and dominions, but it is part of what our struggle calls us to do in Jesus name.
In the midst of this struggle and these hard last two days and nights I received your prayers and your encouragements. Sometimes we know not why the Lord puts a desire upon us to pray but we are never to ignore it or to take it lightly. I thank you and your family for praying for this ministry and for me in particular at this time.
It's time for a come back. A renewed effort. A double portion. A shaking off of old things and a putting on of the new. The powers against us are no match for the blood soaked name of Jesus of Nazareth. They have no hold, no power, no dominion over us...only resistance which is feeble at the finger of God who with a slight whisper can blow them away.
Brother thank you... I am mindful that when the King Cobra snake invaded the Sunday school class in India...both myself and my wife were up all night praying. We knew not why but we were called to pray all night that night. Then in a few days we found that on that exact day and hour is when the snake had invaded the Sunday school in India and that God made a miracle. The miracle came as people were united in prayer. By God's grace He included my wife and all night into the early morning and we surely joined with those who prayed and witnessed this miracle. I have not shared this before but share it now with you so that you fully see how we are connected in prayer and supplications. Yes we have to intercede as the Spirit leads. Never deny to pray when the Lord moves you or rouse you in the middle of the night to pray. You know not who your prayers are for at times and God knows all things.
Here is a passage for you and it represents my family and I am sure that it represents yours as well.
Psalm 128
A Pilgrim Song
1-2 All you who fear
God, how blessed you are! how happily you walk on his smooth straight road!
You worked hard and deserve all you've got coming.
Enjoy the blessing! Revel in the goodness!
3-4 Your wife will bear children as a vine bears grapes,
your household lush as a vineyard,
The children around your table
as fresh and promising as young olive shoots.
Stand in awe of God's Yes.
Oh, how he blesses the one who fears
God!
