I am very much happy to write to you at this time. Sorry for not writing to you sooner it is because of some commitments in the ministry. How is the gospel going at Thailand? I believe many have received Christ as their personal savior,we are fine in the Lord.
Again we appreciate your gift and let us repeat saying God bless those that gave cheerfully. This is a great blessing that we can not say but God knows. I would like to inform you that at this season the prices of dairy cows are very expensive ranging from32000KES to 38000KES but i tried to buy the one that is fit to our potential.
This is how I utilized the funds to equip us primarily I used 25,900 KES to buy one dairy cow ,2500 KES to buy cooking fat, KES 200 bus ticket to and from town, KES 700 to buy sugar.
Those are some of the documentations that i managed to get. That is how the funds were used.

Attacks on Christians seen as politically expedient in majority-Buddhist nation.
CHIANG MAI, Thailand, January 21 (CDN) — As Burma’s military junta gears up for its first parliamentary election in two decades this year, observers fear attacks on the Christian minority could intensify.
Mungpi Suangtak, assistant editor of a New Delhi-based news agency run by exiled Burmese journalists, the Mizzima News, said the Burmese junta has “one of the world’s worst human rights records” and will “definitely” attack religious and ethnic minorities more forcefully in the run-up to the election.
The military regime, officially known as the State Peace and Development Council (SPDC), pledged to hold the election this year, and analysts believe polls will be held after July in the country, also known as Myanmar.
Suangtak told Compass that the Buddhist nationalist junta would target Christians particularly in Karen state, bordering Thailand, and in Chin State, bordering India and Bangladesh.
Many Christians are part of the Karen National Union and the Chin National Front, armed resistance groups that have been demanding freedom or autonomy for their respective states for decades, and therefore the junta sees the Christian minority as a threat, said Suangtak.
There are over 100,000 Christian Chin refugees in India who have fled the junta’s attacks in the past two decades, according to Human Rights Watch.
Christians in Karen state are not safe. A Karen Christian worker living in the Mae La refugee camp on the Thailand-Burma border told Compass that ethnic Christians were facing human rights abuses by the junta “on a daily basis.” Most recently, Burma army soldiers attacked a church, murdered a local farmer and injured others in Nawng Mi village on Dec. 19, 2009, reported Burma Campaign UK.
Parts of Karen state fall under the “Black Zone” – identified by the Burma army as an area under the control of armed resistance groups where its soldiers are free to open fire on anyone on sight – and the junta has been launching indiscriminate attacks to take control of village after village, said the Karen Christian.
“Those who are not able to flee across the border during such attacks are either killed or forcibly relocated in and confined to temporary camps set up by the junta,” the Christian said. “Since the army litters surrounding areas with landmines, many local people die or get injured while trying to run away from or coming to the camps to look for their relatives.”
Over 150,000 refugees from Karen and neighboring Karenni states of Burma are living along the Thai side of the border, according to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. More than half of them are Christian.
A representative of the Free Burma Rangers (FBR), which trains and sends teams of local people to help victims of the junta’s attacks inside Burma, said youths have been forced to become Buddhists in Chin state, where over 80 percent of the people are Christian.
Printing of Bibles is restricted, and churches are destroyed on a regular basis in the state, the source told Compass on condition of anonymity.
Access for foreign visitors to Chin state is, with some exceptions, prohibited, and the state is widely acknowledged to be the poorest part of the country, said Rogers.
“According to one Chin, the reason Chin state is denied resources, and foreigners are denied access, is specifically because the overwhelming majority of Chins are Christian,” stated a 2009 report by London-based advocacy group Christian Solidarity Worldwide (CSW). “The SPDC has, it is believed, taken a deliberate decision to discriminate against Chin Christians.”
The report cited a Chin Christian man who had served in the Burma army who faced discrimination.
“I had a colleague who was a Chin who became a Buddhist and he was promoted,” the Christian says in the report. “I was told to change my religion if I wanted to get promotion. I refused to convert.”
The report also quoted a Chin Christian as saying that students from a Christian youth fellowship at a university in Kalaymyo, in Chin state’s Sagaing Division, collected funds among their own community to construct a small church.
“However, in 2008 and again in 2009, ‘extremist Buddhists’ destroyed the church building, and when the students reported the incident to the local authorities, the youth fellowship leaders were arrested, detained and then released with a warning,” he said.
Religious Pretext
Suangtak said successive governments in Burma have promoted Buddhism since General Ne Win took power in 1962, leaving Christians insecure.
“There is a general feeling in Burma that the state represents Buddhism, and most Christians, particularly from conservative sections, cannot trust the regime,” said Suangtak.
Benedict Rogers of CSW said the junta doesn’t differentiate between individual Christians involved in armed struggle and ordinary Christians who have not taken up arms.
“And when it attacks villages in conflict zones, churches and pastors are often among the first to be attacked,” Rogers said.
A Christian worker from Burma’s Mandalay city, however, told Compass that thus far he has heard no reports of any major anti-Christian incidents there. He said he was hoping the junta would try to woo people with peace rather than violence.
“But nothing can be said about the unpredictable junta,” he said, adding that it was difficult to receive or send information in Burma. “Even in cities, the information infrastructure is limited and expensive, phones are tapped and e-mails are monitored. And the press is owned by the state.”
Rogers, deputy chairman of the human rights commission for the U.K.’s Conservative Party, said the Buddhist nationalist regime “distorts and perverts Buddhism for political purposes and is intolerant of non-Burman and non-Buddhist ethnic and religious minorities, including Christians and Muslims.”
Of the 56 million people in Burma, around 89 percent are Buddhist, with only 4 percent Christian.
Given that the junta merely uses religion for political power, it doesn’t target Christians alone, Suangtak said.
“The junta has no respect for any religion, be it Christians or Buddhists, and anyone who opposes its rule is dealt with harshly.”
Burma was ruled by military regimes from 1962 to 1990; at that point the National League for Democracy party, led by Nobel Laureate Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, won the parliamentary election. But the regime seized power again by imprisoning members of parliament after the election.
Rogers, who has co-authored a soon-to-be-published biography of SPDC chairman Senior General Than Shwe, said that while the armed groups are not perfect, they are essentially fighting to defend their people against a “brutal regime” and are “not in any way terrorists.”
“The armed groups have sometimes launched pre-emptive attacks on the military, but they have never attacked non-military targets and have never engaged in indiscriminate acts of violence,” he said. “Even the pre-emptive acts are conducted for defensive, rather than offensive, purposes.”
Rogers added that resistance groups were fighting to defend their people.
“Individual Christians who have joined the armed ethnic groups do so out of a perfectly biblical concept of just war, the right to defend your people from gross injustice.”
Added an FBR source, “In Burma, no one protects except the pro-democracy resistance groups, and all relief inside the country is only possible because of them.”
International Disrepute
The 2009 annual report of the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom states that Burma’s military junta had “one of the world’s worst human rights records.”
“Burma’s Christian populations face forced promotion of Buddhism and other hardships in ethnic minority areas where low-intensity conflict has been waged for decades,” the report states. “In addition, a new law passed in early 2009 essentially bans independent ‘house church’ religious venues, many of which operate because permission to build church buildings is regularly denied.”
The report also pointed out that in January 2009, authorities in Rangoon ordered at least 100 churches to stop holding services and forced them to sign pledges to that effect. Burma, which the ruling junta describes as “The Golden Land” on its official website, has been designated as a Country of Particular Concern by the U.S. Department of State since 1999.
Even after the 2010 election, little is expected to change.
The FBR source said the election was not likely to be free and fair, pointing out that the new constitution the junta adopted after an apparently rigged referendum in 2008 virtually enshrined military power.
“However, having an election is better than not having one at all,” the source said.
The American Church needs a catfish thrown in it's neat little fish bowl...
See this story written below by CNN's Anderson Cooper. Anderson used it as a lead to one of his daily letters to President Obama and he used it in a way that worked for him, but I would like to shed a different light using this story as a message to the American Church...
"Here’s a story I heard once, which may or may not be true. I don’t know. But it is interesting to consider.
When goldfish are shipped by airplane from wherever it is that goldfish come from, (personally I think it is Golden Pond) they have a nasty tendency to get a type of fishy malaise…an ennui of the sea…and one by one they start rolling over and dying, lulled into the great nevermore by the rocking water, the flight, and no doubt the excessive baggage fees. This, if you are a goldfish dealer, is bad. So some years back, goldfish wranglers discovered a trick. If they put a catfish in, the goldfish get all riled up, and swim vigorously as they defend their territory. And in the process, the goldfish find strength they did not know they had. They not only live, they thrive."
At M300 Ministries we have for a long time found the American church lulled into a fishy malaise and have seen church after church and leader after leader roll over and die in a spiritual sense. We have found the American church in our days dying and lulled into the great nevermore by the "smooth feel of the road to heaven". Wake up...It's not meant to be all about a "make me feel good", "entertain me" gospel. It's not meant to be a "tickle my ear", please my taste buds American flavored Gospel. A pastor friend serving in a country where persecution is rampant made this comment to me the other day, "Do Americans really believe that Jesus is an American Jesus and that they can tell Him what to do?" A sad testimony from a place where the mention of the name Jesus can bring death and persecution. Is this representative of the American church that you are a member of?

I noted during the 24/7 week long marathon to help Haiti that many pastors, leaders, and Christian teachers didn't miss a beat, didn't change their tweets or even recognize the massively grave situation in Haiti. Many continued to offer books for sale, talk about how nice the golf game was, or how beautiful of a day it was and how God was just pouring out blessings on them. How could you NOT LIFT A FINGER seeing your "neighbor in dispair"? How could you be a Christian leader and be guilty of #NLAF (Not Lifting A Finger) to help? If you wonder why God doesn't see your fast or hear your prayers do a quick read of Isaiah 58 and you will gain wisdom and understanding of what God has to say to your heart.
Now consider what would happen if this simple hash code were put into wide circulation #NLAF meaning (Not Lift A Finger) It could be used to document each time that a Christian or a Church were given the opportunity by God to help and could meet a need, but choose to #NLAF (Not Lift A Finger) It would make an interesting but extremely embarrassing database. Let's hope no one does this but if they do... Will you appear in such a listing or not? Repent while it is still day for the time is coming when no man can repent.
In real life this means that the American church in large measure has been lulled into complacency and more often than not does Not Lift A Finger to help when they really can. Now the book of James has alot to say about this but I am not going to interpret it here because for the most part it is self explanatory and those lacking understanding who are in Christ can ask the Holy Spirit to guide them with wisdom and understanding. The main point of what I want to clearly state here today is that most American churches are self centered islands unto themselves.
Sure there are exceptions and perhaps where you attend is not like this but as a 100% faith ministry our direct experience tell us that many if not most American churches have no real concept of what the Great Commission is other than that they can send funds directly to their denominational headquarters or associational headquarters and let the "professionals" handle that thing called The Great Commission. The most perfect truth as witnessed by the world and the lost of the world is that in general the church in American practices The Great Omission in lieu of practicing The Great Commission.
Why on Earth or in Heaven would a church body Not Lift A Finger to help the poor. Why would they see missionaries tasked by God in their midst and confirmed in their calling and still Not Lift A Finger? Why would the naked remain naked while the American church plays fun and game night by Not Lifting A Finger.
At M300 Ministries we specialize in autonomous partnering with other Christian ministries. The head of a well known Christian University once remarked to me, "I simply don't get it! How do you possibly work with so many different ministries given all of the doctrinal differences that stand in between." The answer came from the Holy Spirit and it was this..."Exactly how many doctrines do we have to get exactly right before we put food in the mouth of a starving child and share Jesus Christ with them?" For this very reason the Apostle Paul once declared to a people of Corinth saying, 1 Corinthians 2:2 For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. So the question begs an answer: Exactly how many doctrinal points do we have to agree upon before we will rescue the perishing and help the needy? Why are we amazed when we choose to Not Lift A Finger and then we see how God get to a point that he has to throw a catfish in our tank to keep us alive. Here's hoping your catfish comes along soon.
The goldfish wrangler's discovered a trick to keep their goldfish alive by getting the goldfish a riled up and swimming vigorously to defend their territory. Perhaps, just maybe, God does the same to the American church by putting people in places that challenge the current state of the American church. People who will point out what Isaiah 58 says about, "How God Sees A True Fast". When the American church became an Island unto itself and the prosperity gospel began to be preached it tickled many ears and satisfied many pallets looking for "what's in it for me". Now the results are clear and it is a shameful legacy of Not Lifting A Finger #NLAF that causes God to throw a catfish in each tank to help churches and Christians find the strength that they never knew they had to not only live but to thrive.
Let me challenge you that the very next time God gives you an opportunity to do good, to serve the needy, to feed the hungry, to cloth the naked, to take home the homeless ...please don't be guilty of Not Lifting A Finger. Do you know why we can speak this way? It is because we are answerable to God and not to man. This ministry surely has it's own catfish swimming around but at the same time we understand much of Isaiah 58 and we endeavor to avoid #NLAF. At times I have personally been convinced that a person could come into the midst of a thriving active, loving church body and literally starve to death because people often choose to #NLAF. Missionaries needing the support of God's resources because God called them and confirmed their ministries could be led to walk away from their calling simply because people, pastors and church leaders choose to #NLAF. Church Pastors and church administrators are tasked by God with recognizing God's calling in the lives of people in their midst and in their community and then helping those people to successfully answer God's call. More often than not "professional pastors" simply choose to #NLAF (Not Lift A Finger) Don't let this be your database or your heritage in the Lord. Choose to do good and to support those called out by God to do good.
If God has blessed you it is so that you can help others. You can rescue the perishing. Comfort the orphan. Help the rescuers and commit to personally help the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to be preached to every nation and every tongue...even to the hardest to reach places on Earth.

IN EL SALVADOR PEOPLE ARE RESPONDING TO THE MESSAGE

For those with short memories... It was not that long ago that the tiny country of El Salvador suffered dual earthquake events in which literally thousands of people died in an instant of time. I was there helping in rescue and recovery efforts when the second earthquake hit. The experience is forever etched in my mind. The feeling of the Earth moving under your feet was nothing like the popular rock song would make it out to be. It was down right terrifying to feel as though you were standing on a piece of foam floating on the Earth's surface and the feel was like at any moment the foam would break or move and you would fall into the earth. It was an time when grown brave men covered their faces in shame as fear and panic would overcome them.
El Salvador should be a testimony the country of Haiti. In Christ all things are possible. It will be possible for Haiti to rebuild and to thrive but only if people turn to God and depend upon Him. Man can rescue but man cannot save...only God can save. See missionary Alexander Castellanos recent report below. It is in Spanish but there are pictures that bring us back to the reality of what is God will...His pleasing and perfect will.

YOU HAVEN'T LIVED UNTIL YOU HAVE PRAYED FOR A COW?
If you are a native pastor associated with M300 Ministries then perhaps you indeed have prayed for a cow. Perhaps not one cow but for 4 cows. Perhaps you requested one Bible to be shared between all of your church members in the Eckegusii language and you watched how God provided people from the other side of the world to supply 14 Bibles in your native language. Perhaps you dreamed of having just one cow to help provide milk, cheese and dairy products to the multitude of orphans that you have taken in... you dreamed and you asked for 4...so far God has given you two cows... So If you have never prayed for a cow before...here is your opportunity...2 more cows are needed at a cost of $400 dollars each so that orphan children in Kenya can do the following:
Milk the cows producing enough milk for themselves and to sell in order to purchase other food and clothing.
Milk the cows to produce cheese and cream which can be used and also sold to pay for school uniforms and supplies.
At M300 Ministries we endeavor to LEAD WITH VISION based on Acts 29:18 but in this case the idea was a local solution that God put on the heart of Pastor Vincent as he and his small gathering sought God out in prayer and fasting. God put them miraculously in touch with M300 Ministries...but alas we have nearly no funding or support base. We shared this with Pastor Vincent and we agreed to make his needs known to anyone who God may have prepared to help. People have been touched to help and they are doing it directly. These funds could flow through M300 Ministries but it is a beautiful site to see the funds flow directly from givers to those in need. Read Isaiah 58 and learn about true fasting and what is needed when fasting for God to respond when you call out to him saying, "Here I Am". See communications below on the most recent help sent. THIS IS HOW WERE WERE LED TO STAND IN THE GAP FOR HAITI EARTHQUAKE
At M300 Ministries we are blessed to work within God's economy which is not based on money or finances but rather on Godly influence for doing good. This influence from God led to our being able to go from ticking in daily ministry to the persecuted church globally to standing in the gap when the Earthquake alarms went off in Haiti.
We were ON POINT first within an hour of the Earthquake seeking new solutions to old problems in disaster response. We were LEADING WITH VISION knowing that it would take time to get boots and supplies on the ground in Haiti but acutely recognizing as well that there were local solutions and local communications coming out of Haiti.
We sought to and did successfully use technology as a force mulitplier in Haiti. After praying and seeking God's favor and His leading we initiated a series of hash codes through the popular social media networks like Twitter and Facebook because we recognized that first of all those trapped in the rubble would want a way to say #RESCUEMEHAITI and secondly family and friends globally would start to seek information on #RELATIVESINHAITI and #VICTIMSMISSINGHAITI . These hash codes were shared with the US State Department, The Southern Command, US Coast Guard and rescue and relief agencies who began to monitor the global generation of data as a massive amount of social network users pitched in to help monitor and codify Tweets and SMS messages filing them under the hash codes above. It was long and a 24/7 effort was launched with participants from the USA, Turkey, Iran, and other nations taking turns to monitor and codify transmissions. This 24/7 efforts allowed us to work closely with veteran disaster and weather expert Mr. Eddie Weiss of Chasing 4 Life as well as other faithful volunteers to monitor and accumlate actionable data for first responders.
The hash codes went global and were used globally by family members, victims, victims trapped in the rubble and others to codify trapped persons needing rescue with locations and GPS coordinates in some case. We also helped codify #medicalsupplylocations, #supplydepotlocations, #medicaltreatmententers and more while communicating with local Haitians and people in the know.
We want to make sure that God is glorified in all of this as it was all His idea! Secondly I want to thank each volunteer who stepped forward to help. Haiti has a long way to go in this disaster and there are many outcomes that remain unknown. On a personal level I am very impressed with our US military, our Christian based relief agencies and with the American people as well as the global community as it responds to this most recent natural disaster.
On an important level M300 Ministries was also able to partner with World Prayr who are the largest Twitter based prayer organization with over 8,500 participant. The fine people at World Prayr lifted up M300 Ministries and my self personally. They lifted up victims by name and location, they poured over data and prayed for responders, military units, doctors, hospitals, family members, etc. We believe that this prayer covering at the beginning and during this first week has been essential and extremely effective. We don't move unless we can move in prayer and be covered in prayer. Hats off to all of the folks at World Prayr who even now are praying over needs and giving glory when rescue happens. God loves to be a rescuer and HE IS.
As we recognize in wisdom that the dinamic on the ground has now shifted and that our data is being used we also recognize the need to step back and not get in the way of professional responders. As Eddie Weiss explained to me late last night, "You guys were the first guys giving the necessary and rough CPR to Haiti...now the professionals have arrived and are better equipped, strong and able. Eddie said, "It's like you are the citizen giving CPR, standing in the gap, because no one else is there...but then the ambulance and the first responders arrive. You have to stand down and support the first professional responders while not getting in the way. They in turn will stand down to others just like when an ambulance brings it's patients to the hospital the first responders stand down to the medical professionals. So we have recognized that our nitche in this disaster and our most important contribution has already been accomplished. Can we do more? Sure Will we do more? Sure but we will choose to support those who demand attention and support because they are poised to deliver solutions beyond our capacity.
We will work closely with Chasing 4 Life as well as World Prayr to start to plan for the potential for a future disaster response arm at M300 Ministries. Insight says that if we can marry us as a global Christian ministry with a professional Christian disaster response arm like Chasing 4 Life and have that covered and bathed in prayer then we think in this way God will again be greatly glorified and people will be helped. Begin to pray for this as we continue to seek ways to help in Haiti and other places sharing "Who is the Christ?" in different languages, cultures and countries while serving the needy. "I distinctly remember being caught in the 2nd massive El Salvador 6.5 earthquake. In a split second as the floor tiles rumbled like ocean waves and buildings began to fall killing, maiming and trapping thousands...there was only one crazy thought going through my mind and it is still there today! I may sound odd but I have come to credit God for! The crazy thought was, JACK BE NIMBLE, JACK BE QUICK! It ran through my head as I escaped potential death in El Salvador and it is with that same phrase that we have worked to help earthquake victims in Haiti. That phrase as I learned the next day, has to be tempered with prayer and prayer covering. As we left to rush out and help victims we forgot to pray. A very short while later a commuter bus crashed into us. As the bus was bearing down with no way to escape... a voice spoke up inside of me and said calmly, "So this is it! This is how you will die as a missionary! And on a day that you did not pray!" No kidding folks...we have to be like Jack Be Nimble and Jack Be Quick in order to save lives but we have to bathe ourselves and be bathed in prayer covering along with fasting and supplication for God's wisdom. A strong earthquake hit the impoverished country of Haiti
A strong earthquake hit the impoverished country of Haiti, where a hospital collapsed and people were screaming for help.
The US Geological Survey said the quake had a preliminary magnitude of 7.3. It occurred this afternoon and was centred about 14 miles west of the Caribbean nation's capital, Port-au-Prince.
The collapsed hospital was in Petionville.
No further details were immediately available.

When I looked up christian ministries on the internet, I saw M300 Ministries. As I interested to see m300ministries, I entered through it and view what you are doing.
I like very much to read that you are sharing uniquely about "Who is Christ". That make me familiar with you as we are doing the same thing here in our country. Thanks that you accepts our request. It is our great privilege to get to know you.
Our vision is to transform our country into a christian country and planting many new churches as many as possible. Our goal for 2010 is to have "over 20" more new churches among the unreached people.
Regarding our situation, We spread the Gospel in our own country through underground evangelistic networks. Our ministry is totally based on faith. We can run our ministry till to day by the offerings, tithes and the love gifts of the believers in Myanmar.
However, each of our leaders. their families and our new Christians are very poor. They don't have enough food to eat daily and clean water to drink. Many children could not attend their school. As the result, the become unable to write and read the Bible.
We use our "______" as a church (worship place). The owners of the "____" don't allow us to use their "_____" as a christian church. So they expelled us time to time and we have to move place to place, here and there many time. Some Buddhist don't want to "____" their "____" at all. Because they know that we will use it to gather the people and share them about "Who is Jesus". It is very difficult to find a "____" to "____" for a christian leader.
As we could not find the "____" to "____" near by, we sometime need to move to very far away. That made us lose contact with some new Christians.
Our prayer request are;
1. We would like to have " Special ministry training" to equip our leaders and train our new Christians who will reach their own family, neighbors and communities by the Gospel. We cannot this with our own efforts at all. Please pray for us that God will make this thing possible as this is the only way we can fulfill our vision.
2. Please pray for us that we will be able to give the "____" cost of our missionaries for 2010 on time. Otherwise they will be expelled by the owners.
3. There are many parent-less children, wandering children on the street after the Nargis Cyclone hit our country, among us. We would like to have Orphanage ministry that will help us fulfill our vision in some way. We will teach the word of God since their child-hood and when they become adult we will send them out to their own tribes and people to share bout who is Jesus and bring them to eternal life. Please pray for us that God will make this orphanage ministry possible to us soon.

Burma
Following Japanese occupation in World War II, Burma gained independence from Britain in 1948. In 1962, the army overthrew the elected government and established an iron-fisted rule against any democratic movements, ruling through their State Law and Order Restoration Council (SLORC). In 1988, an estimated three thousand pro-democratic demonstrators were killed. 1990 saw the first democratic elections in three decades. When the opposition National League for Democracy (NLD) won 392 of the 485 seats, the SLORC jailed hundreds of NLD members, refusing to give up power. In 1997 and 1998, the military junta changed their name to the State Peace and Development Council (SPDC) and removed many of the SLORC members in an effort to improve international relations, but the country remains firmly under the power of the military, strongly opposing democratic reforms.
Most Christian missions were expelled in 1966 and the military regime maintains controls over religious activity. There have been many cases of forced conversion from Christianity to Buddhism as well as violence against Christians. All gatherings of more than five people are illegal and all houseguests must be reported or face imprisonment.
Many of Burma's Christians are part of ethnic minorities (northern Chin groups, Lisu, and Karen) who are opposed for ethnic, political, and religious reasons. The minority Karen people are among the most discriminated against in Burma.
Buddhism is strongly entrenched in the Burmese majority; only about five percent of Christians in Burma are converts from Buddhism. Christian sites and graveyards are frequently demolished and replaced with pagodas, often using Christians as forced labour. Christians have been raped, tortured and murdered. In the aftermath of Cyclone Nargis, which devastated the country in early May 2008, Burmese authorities reportedly denied relief aid to several Christians.
In an act of opposition to the presence of Christianity in Burma, government forces defaced and then destroyed a fifty-foot concrete cross on a hilltop on Matupi Township of southern Chin State on January 3, 2005. A cross had been in that location for two decades as a testimony to their faith in Christ.
There remains little regard for any human rights or freedoms in Burma. The words of Lt. Gen. Khin Nyunt, the first secretary of the SPDC, in 1992 sum up the situation in Burma—that under military rule there is essentially "no law at all."

Looking back we have understood 2009 as "The Year Of Foundation" but now we are assured that even greater things are yet to come!
As we enter 2010 I would like to clearly share with each of you the importance of answering God's call upon your life. The importance of "hearing His voice and doing all that He ask". The importance of stepping out in faith to find "The Sweet Spot" where your faith and your actions intersect. Your "sweet spot" is exactly where God can most easily bless you and your family.
Last year we learned the importance of God being the builder of this house (M300 Ministries) We learned that we can rise up early and go to bed late and we can labor in vain if the Lord is not the builder of this house. We are blessed in that the Lord indeed is the builder of this house and the leading of the Holy Spirit says that the trenches have been dug, the foundations have been laid and this year 2010 is the Year Of Promise.
In another post we will put together a video collage to graphically depict how the Lord led us this year and exactly where He took us. Following Japanese occupation in World War II, Burma gained independence from Britain in 1948. In 1962, the army overthrew the elected government and established an iron-fisted rule against any democratic movements, ruling through their State Law and Order Restoration Council (SLORC). In 1988, an estimated three thousand pro-democratic demonstrators were killed. 1990 saw the first democratic elections in three decades. When the opposition National League for Democracy (NLD) won 392 of the 485 seats, the SLORC jailed hundreds of NLD members, refusing to give up power. In 1997 and 1998, the military junta changed their name to the State Peace and Development Council (SPDC) and removed many of the SLORC members in an effort to improve international relations, but the country remains firmly under the power of the military, strongly opposing democratic reforms.
