Today was a great day at work. Geez when you do what God designed you for the days can be very, very good. Sometimes there are challenging days and especially on Mondays. I talked with some friends the other day about designing Mondays on Twitter as "Miracle Mondays" so that we all get a boost on the first work day of each week. I will keep you posted on that.
Today was good because we were able to provide support to a pastor serving in Muslim dominated Pakistan, a pastor serving in Muslim dominated Bangladesh, 25 "barefoot pastors" serving in Hindu dominated India. We also were blessed to provide aid to a young lady headed off to Peru for a return mission trip during the month of December. Oh yeah and over the Thanksgiving Holiday the Lord put it on the heart of some special people to provide 10 Elkisuii Bibles to Christians in rural Kenya who asked for just one Bible to share among the men of the church. Guess what? They got 10 Bibles because God is that big and bigger. Now the effort is underway to provide milk cows to this pastor in Kenya so that he can provide for more than 20 orphans that are under his and his church's care. Yes today was a good day...
   We served today by providing sound counsel on several fronts as well as sticking with our commitments to pray for certain people at certain times including the "Night Watches". Here it is 6 pm and we are left with the feeling of ... "Do we really have to quit now? Why can't we just continue on?" These desires have to be inbred by God's Holy Spirit. While most folks sadly are dragging in from work or from the commute to or from work...we are still glowing and ready to pounce on anything that the Lord sets before us. It is our desire to both hear His voice and to do all that He ask of us. Acts 13:22.
   You may ask youself ...Where does all of this support come from. In all honesty it comes from God who is faithful to His promises. God your maker. God the Creator of all that is. God is the one with His right hand upon this ministry because it all depends upon Him who is sending us by His power and His Spirit not by our own might. You could not pay people to work with way that we work for the Lord. We work out of Love and appreciation for all that He has done and will do for us. Will do you say? Yes with confidence and faith we can say that according to His blessed promises He will provide for us and will do all that He has said He would do. If any are slack...it is us..not HIM!
   Consider directly supporting M300 Ministries today. We need you to hear God and do all that He ask of you as well. Look at what Peter had to say...Peter who we often consider to have been impulsive is considered by the Lord to have been willing...are you also willing? God stands ready to forgive this nation, this people, this world through His Son Jesus Christ... We are to be cheerful givers and it is in this area that God has told us to test Him. Have you ever tried to out give God? Ask someone who has... One cheerful heart said this: "It can't be don't but it sure is alot of fun trying!"

“But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare. Pennies From Heaven has a very strong testimony to share with the world about God's faithfulness and God's provision. Greetings! This year we have so much to be thankful for in Honduras.  In spite of a difficult year financially, God has provided for every one of our needs and our programs have operated at full capacity.  New churches have been planted and to date more than 150 new souls have come to Christ.  In spite of a difficult year politically in Honduras God has blessed us with safety and security.  He's opened doors for us to make friends with military officials and we have been able to continue operating when the rest of the region was shut down due to 24 hour curfews.

We have been blessed with three more homes at the Mission Lazarus Refuge.  These homes are changing lives and truly do provide a Refuge for the children that call the Refuge home.  When little Osiris Beltrand came to us, orphaned and neglected, she was very shy.  She did not know what it meant to be an innocent child, much less what love was.

Now three years later she has blossomed and is a princess.  Here she is taking part in this years Independence Day celebration in Honduras on September 15th.  Complete with traditional colonial era costumes and folkloric dance.  We are thankful for the Mission Lazarus Refuge and that children like Osiris are able to call this place home. And just yesterday, we received a written certification from IHNFA, Honduras child protective services, that the adoption of our daughter, Soledad, is complete.  This amazing 6 year journey has been a true learning process in how to trust God.  Here she is with our son Levi.

Thank you God for your abundant blessings that you pour out daily.  Thank you God for inspiring others to help make the work of Mission Lazarus, the work of preaching the Good News through works, a reality.  And thank You, for being God's hands and hearing the cries of his children in need.  Happy Thanksgiving.    Last week right before the Thanksgiving Holidays we posted a story entitled "THE GREAT BURDEN" (See the link)  We are happy to report that throughout Thanksgiving week the Lord touched the hearts of a faith based community to respond to the needs voiced by Pastor Vincent of Kenya, Africa.
   We are happy to report that a fine group of Christians from "CONNECTIONS" (A faith based community) responded over the holidays by interceding in prayer, direct communications and ultimately the provision of funds for the purchase of 10 Bibles in Ekegusii language. Pastor Vincent had expressed the desire for even one Bible in the Ekegusii language that could be shared among the men of his local church. Jeremy Wright and the fine folks at "Connections" felt the leading to provide for 10 Bibles. Pictures will be provided in a follow up report from Pastor Vincent. The funds were directly wired to Pastor Vincent on Friday by the "Connections" group.
   In addition the "CONNECTIONS" group is studying ways to help provide a unique form of support to Pastor Vincent so that he can continue to provide for over 20 orphan children in Kenya. This was Pastor Vincent's plea:


  "I also have twenty orphan children. I, my church, needs help from the merciful servants of God from all the parts of the world.
   I have also one ongoing project of keeping dairy cows where by I keep one local breed cow and I am praying God to open me a way to get four good breed dairy cows to supply the orphans with fresh milk to drink and and other for sale to buy them clothes and buy them the corn meal."

The proposition is to provide up to 4 dairy cows that would provide a source for milk, cheese and other nutritious products for the orphaned children under Pastor Vincent's care. The cost of these dairy cows are $400 each. Pastor Vincent has provided certification of his status as a local Pastor as well as written recommendations from community leaders and officials. The initial leading is to attempt to raise funds for one cow at a time in order to measure the responsible and correct application of the funds.

A few days ago I was notified that funding had been budgeted by Concord Baptist Church in Clermont, Georgia to help partially fund the Valiant Warrior Fund at M300 Ministries. I wanted to take a moment to thank Concord Baptist Church for hearing His voice and doing what He asked. You may say...Just a moment..."hearing His voice and doing what He ask?" See Acts 13:22. This is what God found to be so special about David! God found David to be a man after His own heart because he would do all that God asked of him. We find the same spirit living at Concord Baptist Church where people are willing to hear God's voice and to do what He ask of them. Let me share how this fact is played out on one of the many mission fields that Concord supports. See this letter below from Pastor Rao below who ministers with 25 "barefoot ministers" in rural India. Why are they barefoot you may ask? They have become all things to all people in order to save some and the people that they work among are barefoot so it means they also are barefoot with them. Brother Wayne Gaines (M300 Ministries), greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Brother how can I say thanks to my living God? How is able to answer our prayers and open the windows? All our 25 barefoot pastors have been fasting and praying for the past one week. We are entering in the Christmas season and we have to meet several needs of these Pastors families, we are totally depending on the Lord. We strongly believe our Lord is Almighty nothing is impossible to our Lord. Amen. Brother when I received this letter my heart was full of thanks to God for his concern and answers to the prayers. Dear Brother Wayne Gaines @ M300 Ministries, greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Brother by the grace of God and with the help of Holy God we have been preaching the good news and helping the poor and needy people of this area. After the flood this area people are so much helpless and they lost their houses and house hold things. The God has given me the opportunity to sever these people and this movement the Holy God has given me the more burden and concern to preach the word of God to these people, really it is God’s grace and I would like to share the miracle in one of the Hindu family we have to praise and glorify His name.

                                                                             

I would like to share this miracle; One Hindu women (her name is RADHA) recently she accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal savior and she had 3 girl children. Her Mother-in-law was not allowing her to attend the Church to worship the Lord and she has been creating several problems not to attend the Church. Her husband also beating her everyday (He is drinker). We have been praying for her to release from all these sufferings. And again she was pregnant and her Mother-in-law advised her son to do the abortion they are not willing to give another birth to this child. So came to our prayer cell and cried like anything.

Her husband was took her to the hospital and Scanned her womb the Doctors said as per the scanning report this baby also girl. Her husband and Mother-in-law forcing her to remove the pregnancy, she joined our prayers (we have organized one week prayers) I have prayed for her and I begged to God help her! God shown me she is going to give birth for Boy. I was shocked and I asked to God how is it possible the Doctors said she is carrying girl child? Again the Holy God said you go and tell to her family members the God is going to give son. I went to her home and called all the members and I shared my experiences, you know they are using vulgar language and it is not possible the Doctors already said she is carrying girl child. Her Mother-in-law has insulted me in several ways even though I barred and controlled myself and came out with lot of pain.

Her Mother-in-law and her husband was forcing her to remove the pregnancy, but she bluntly rejected not to do. You know what happened? Last week she was given birth to the Boy.

Amen and praise the Lord and our God, her Mother-in-law and her husband was came to me and cried asking me to forgive their un-belief. And another miracle is after few days this boy was sick we have been praying for this Boy the Holy God was healed this boy from that sickness not only that her Mother-in-law and her husband was accepted the Lord as their personal savior. Amen. The Holy God has been doing miracles and preparing their hearts. Please remember in your prayers. May God bless you.

   As we move ahead, not by our own power, but by the Spirit of God, I want to share with all of you a sample of The Great Burden with which we are constantly faced. Last year God made this plain to us at M300 Ministries: "Go in the strength that you have...is it not I who is sending you?" One year later we have been faithful in our part but we find that in our times most people have ears that do not hear and eyes that do not see what God is doing.
   With this word from God we moved out to found and direct M300 Ministries. I would be less than honest if I did not say that it is an extremely challenging and hard calling on a personal level, but also on a ministry level. We have many burdens that come to us daily. God is leading. God is assimilating. God is causing partnership. God is building. God is God. God carries our burdens, but when God calls you to ministry He also calls you to help deal with burdens, carry burdens, answer burdens and to be faithful in doing all that is asked of you. Some days the burden wagon can look like the picture above and even more so if we try to do it in our own strength and not by God's Spirit. God's Spirit includes how He works in your heart and how provides opportunity for you to be a blessing to those in need.

The gauntlet laid down before us right now is this: "LEAD WITH VISION"

Psalm 89:18-20

 ¹⁸ Indeed, our shield belongs to the LORD,
       our king to the Holy One of Israel.

 ¹⁹ Once you spoke in a vision,
       to your faithful people you said:
       "I have bestowed strength on a warrior;
       I have exalted a young man from among the people.

   As we endeavor to hear God through His Holy Word, by His Holy Spirit and through that small still voice that gives vision, we seek to raise up an army of prayer warriors who will intercede, make supplication and commit to petitioning God for His favor, His vision for this ministry, His enabling, His building of this house (Pslams 127) and for our personal enabling in order to remain fully engaged in ministry.  See this link for more information: www.m300ministries.org/resources

   Below is a small sample of today's mail. Pastor Vincent is a man, who I do not know and do not yet know what country he is from, but I do know that he was led to us by God. Pastor Vincent has been praying for years, along with his church brethren for an encounter with a ministry that God would show him. I want to share his note with you, along with this question:

How would you answer this man's petition knowing that the hearts of men including Christians have grown cold (lukewarm)?

   Please, I am want to know how you would respond. Either email a response to me at wayne@m300ministries.org or add a comment at the end of this article. This email arrived just minutes ago and we have not responded just yet, because for a change, I would like to know what it is that the Lord tells you about how we should respond. Ponder how is it that we can reach out to wonderful people like this without any resources to do so. Ponder how it is that no one gives for things like this, but God in His Glory and by His Spirit works oftentimes in spite of our lukewarmness. Consider teaming up with God today to become a blessing to wonderful people like Pastor Vincent. (Note: I underlined specific things in his note)

On 2 November 2009 we hosted the Pastor's Leadership Conference.
This conference was organized by me along with your prayers and support. More than 100 Pastors and Leaders participated in this conference.
Pastor Jack came from the USA and gave the wonderful lectures and training to the Pastors and Leaders.
All the Pastors and leaders were blessed by the wonderful messages of Pastor Jack.
Many were touched by the Holy Spirit and they re-evaluated their service and comittment to the Lord Jesus Christ.
In the afternoon Pastor Jack gave water Baptism and 22 people received water Baptism.
On 3rd November, Pastor Jack also visited our Schools and sewing Centers and prayed for them.

Today the Sun came out with new hopes in their life for 59 Christians in Pakistan. "Life for All" made an effort to give these people their life back. 59 Christians who have been in jails across Pakistan received the news of their freedom 4 days ago by the efforts made by "Life for All". Mr. Rizwan Paul, President of "Life for All" presented a petition to the President of Pakistan for the pardon of the Christians who had been falsely accused of minor crimes.

President of Pakistan, Mr. Asif Ali Zardari reviewed the petition and approved the release of the prisoners who had been accused of minor crimes. The President vowed to review the release of the other prisoners after reviewing the reported nature of their supposed crimes.

Now they are free, they can breath freely and move freely.

Extremely emotional scenes were seen outside the jails when these people were released. The family members were present to greet their loved ones. They thanked "Life for All" for their effort. The representatives from "Life for All" were present at the respective jails to receive the released. They took the record of the released and then handed over the released to their families.

Still there are more than 2500 Christians in jails all over Pakistan who cannot afford the legal assistance for their release. There are many Church based and Christian/Muslim civil society organizations who claim to provide legal aid assistance to Christians and other poor people but its truth that poor in Pakistan are implicated in false cases and end up in jails for years. Unfortunately the organizations getting huge sums of funds from foreign donor agencies only follow cases which can give them publicity and poor are left without any legal aid. Where as "Life for All" did not get any local / foreign aid for the release of these Christians."Life for All" made this effort for the community.

Rizwan stressed that the Christian organizations need to work together for the development of the community.

Please praise the Lord for each name on this list remembering that it is not by might but buy His Spirit that such freedom is accomplished. Pray for these people by name and for their families. Pray for those who are still in prison that the Pakistani President will follow through on his commitment to review the many list of "minority prisoners" who are often jailed under false accusations. Pray for President Mr. Asif Ali Zardari that justice, mercy and fairness will be imparted to those who are living as falsely accused prisoners. We applaud President Mr. Asif Ali Zardari for his good will to review such cases and to execute sound judgment in each case. Pray also for the organization, "Life For All" and it's President Mr. Rizwan Paul who has a long history of working on behalf of minorities inside of Pakistan. Blessings and all praise and honor be unto God.

 


   Recently someone sent me a well written and crafted article that lashed out at one political party over the other. In the analysis the thought of Jesus having a political agenda was raised. In reality even Jesus's disciples thought that He had arrived on the scene to take control of the political systems of the day. They were ready to thrust him into the role of "Political Defacto Leader" but Jesus retreated to the mountains and prayed to God knowing that this was not his mission. His mission was to seek and save the lost while serving those in need. His mission was to die for the sins of men becoming a perfect sacrifice able to restore men back to a right relationship with God.

Here are some realities that I share which you might find interesting:

• Jesus was not about politics at all. He said, "Render unto Cesar that which is of Cesar and unto God that which is of God"
• It was the politicians (Jewish and Roman) along with the mass of politically frenzied people who would put him to death.
  
• I am reading a book called "The Children of Jihad" by Jared Cohen ISBN 978-1-592-40324-0 First printed in 2007. It is a book about a young American Jew's travel among the Youth of the Middle East. What he reveals is eye opening regarding how much politics affects the lives of people for good and bad.
  
• One of the main things I walk away with from his book is that when any religion including Christianity goes political in any country, nationality or region people are going to get hurt.
  
• Christianity was not meant to be politicized by anyone. Christianity was meant to model Jesus in seeking and saving the lost while serving the needy and sick. Christianity is not a political movement. (By the way I do not believe that Islam was meant to be political either as in "Sahria Law". You can judge the results for yourself)
  
• In the name of religion including Christianity mayhem has been instigated historically just as with other religions that go political. I read one part of his book where the Christian party in Lebanon were offended because one of their candidates was murdered so they block the roads and everyone with a Muslim ID had his throat slit. 300 people in one day had their throats slit in the name of Christianity (political) As a result a major war broke out between Christians and Muslims and something like 30,000 people died. How much killing has taken place in the name of political Islam also.
  
• I had never realized until this reading just how much political baggage comes along with the modern day name "Christian". When you step into the third world or into the Muslim world and call yourself a "Christian" you may indeed mean to hold yourself out as a follower of Christ but by in large they will see you with your "Christian baggage and heritage".
  
• When you consider all of the Martyrs who have died and you read the history books it is then that you will find that most of them were killed by the Catholic church which politicized religion and attempted to legislate and mandate their brand of Christianity on the masses. The Christian Crusaders are in large measure what most Muslims think when they hear the term "Christian". Those being the ones who invaded countries, raped, pillaged, murdered, etc. in order to "establish Christianity" in foreign lands. I am afraid that "Christianity" has far more baggage and dark closets than I ever realized. So when we go in and proclaim we are Christians it is a proud heritage from our point of view but a dark heritage from the worldview of many based on historical facts showing how Christianity was piggy backed with politics leading to abuse.
  
• The other thing is this: I came up with a mathematical equation the other day that goes like this,
• C = M / M    This means CONTROL EQUALS MANIPULATION OVER THE MASSES.
• This is my own rendering of political efforts worldwide, including in the USA, in that they seek whatever means available, including religion, to gain control so that they can manipulate the masses. Hitler held himself out to be a noble and great Christian. The extermination of the Jewish people was indoctrinated into German society as a Christian mandate. Yes the German people considered themselves to be a strong and proud Christian society who were doing the work of God on Earth. Do you see how things can go wrong when politics is adopted into, birthed out of or manipulated by human politics? John the Baptist was beheaded as a political favor. Jesus was crucified at the hands of politicians who summarily washed their hands of the guilt associated with the deed.
  

    In reality God shared this thing clearly with me: "It has to be all about Jesus!" This is why M300 Ministries is NON POLITICAL. It is also why personally I am disenfranchised by the world's political systems, preferring rather to wipe all of that aside in order to see Christ clearly and being able to hear His voice while doing all that He ask of me. It is really that simple Acts 13:22.
    I would counsel most of you to step away from politics and step closer to Christ. There are many road kills all along the highway of politics but breaking the sincere bread of ministry in a non political fashion is pleasing to God. Politics mixed with religion or religion mixed with politics is a deadly cocktail that God never intended. In the USA we have freedom of religion and we hold that out as a constitutional right. We need to think twice before we mix politics and religion. Our own history has proven that a government which protects freedom of religion is more highly regarded and more successful than a government that intertwines politics and religion. The separation of church and state was intentionally designed by the founding fathers of the USA as a measure of protection for religious freedom and a measure for effective government and effective governing.
    In closing it was a well written article, but now being non political I would rather not waste my few remaining years warped by political winds but rather fulfilling what is asked of me. I encourage each of you to think clearly before finding any peace in any political organization, agenda or movement. Unless you are a politician it is better to stay out of the political arena because someone will surely throw you a sucker punch if you don't watch out and the referee will likely be politically motivated to look the other way. Ha ha Please don't misconstrue this line of thought as a reason to not participate or vote in political elections because that is not the intention of this writing. The clear intention is to show that what is effectively important to God should be what is important to us today. What is important to God cannot be fully and clearly represented by any politician or political movement but rather the Holy Spirit and God's own written words show us what is important to God. It is by the very words of the living God that we will all be judged and not by the words of charismatic or popular politicians.

RAWALPINDI: Thirty-five people were killed and 65 others injured when a suicide bomber blew himself up outside a branch of the National Bank here on Monday.

Most of those who died in the attack were serving or retired civil and military employees, pensioners and elderly citizens who had queued for drawing salary and paying utility bills.

The powerful explosion took place at 10.45am at the branch’s parking zone located outside a four-star hotel off The Mall road and near the State Bank. The place is just a few hundred metres away from the GHQ, where militants had carried out a deadly siege last month.

(AFP adds: 'The suicide bomber came on a motorcycle and blew himself up close to people gathered to get salaries. We found parts of a suicide vest and some body parts of the suicide attacker,' senior police official Aslam Tarin told reporters.)

Officials said two women, Fakharunnisa and Samina, a police officer and two employees of the ministry of defence, Tariq Javaid and Bashir Ahmed, were among the dead.

A senior police officer said preliminary investigation suggested that eight kilograms of high explosives had been used in the blast.

A bomb disposal squad official said a hand-grenade was also used in the blast. At least 36 pieces of the grenade found from the scene suggested that the bomber might have first used the grenade and then detonated the explosives.

At least 30 shops of a nearby shopping mall and more than two dozen vehicles were damaged and windowpanes of buildings smashed.

An emergency was declared in all hospitals in the cantonment and city areas. The place was cordoned off and commandoes were deployed. Rescue workers and ambulances from Rescue 1122 rushed to the scene and took the injured to hospitals.

An eyewitness, Ms Nasreen, told Dawn that she was coming out of the bank after paying a gas bill when the huge explosion took place. 'It was a terrible scene and bodies were lying scattered all over the place.'

Rescue workers said six bodies were badly charred, two of them beyond recognition.

The death toll may rise because some of the injured were in a critical condition.

Investigators obtained CCTV footages from nearby buildings. A source close to the investigation told Dawn that the investigators could not get any lead from the footages.

According to sources, police spotted a suspicious man with a motorbike in R.A. Bazaar area before the blast, but he escaped before police could catch him.

So far no group has claimed responsibility for the blast.

LAHORE: Two suicide bombers blew themselves up at a police checkpoint near bus terminals at the entrance to the city of Lahore late Monday, killing one policeman and wounding 25 people, including seven policemen.

The bombers struck after dark at the Babu Sabu police checkpost on a link road to Pakistan’s intercity motorway that dissects the country from the northwestern city of Peshawar to the capital Islamabad and east to Lahore.

Both of the attackers were killed in the bombing as they reportedly blew themselves up while carrying out the attack.

‘A car was stopped at the check post and the two suicide bombers in the car exploded themselves. We have found legs and a head,’ city police chief Pervez Rathor told reporters at the scene.

According to Rescue 1122, at least 25 people have been injured in the attack. The injured are being taken to the Jinnah Hospital and the Services Hospital.—AFP/DawnNews
