MIdohou Roland was born on 13^th of May 1974, he was not able to finished his secondary school. He later became a Translator and he was born again in Jesus Christ in 1993. He obtained a certificate of preparation and studies from "The Living Word Bible School. He went into ministry in 2004, and later was lead by God to start his own ministry calling in August 2008 . The Lord led it to be called “SALEM Ministries”. Idohou is married to DANSOU Agnes and they are still expecting their first child.

Today SALEM Ministries has only one local church due to the fact that the founder works for other organizations to obtain money to sponsor his ministry. During the year 2009 Roland spent 10 months working with Mercy Ships and earned money and praise the Lord he always was allowed to come back each Sunday of the week to preach in his local church. The local church is established on land that does not belong to us.

We need economic help to buy land and to build a structure. We need help with the pastor's monthly support and also funds to help care for 36 orphans that are with us .

Share your testimony about how you became a Christian. ?

Born in the family of four children ,our father send us to school but was not able to care for us to finish ,while moving from one place to another ,I met a group of Christian .They preached to me about Christ that he can change my life .I quickly gave my life to him because I want a change ..Really it was a wonderful experience, I can't forget it I knew that some thing took place in me ; this experience is what give me assurance every day of my life that there is God.

Share your testimony about how God called you into ministry?

I love the lord since the day I gave my life to him , serving him was my desire every day. this desire lead me to follow a pastor for evangelism work. After three years I had heard about a Bible School then I enrolled without having money to pay. I remember that a Nigerian brother paid a part that school fees for me. It was during those years in Bible school that I was convicted of a call of God on my life, also men of God confirmed the same. One day in a vision I saw men in a great bondage and suffering and a I heard a voice saying to me, "Very soon I will send you to loose them. So while waiting for the day to come I served under many pastors and ministries until 2008 that I when I was convicted to follow what the voice told me some years back".

We need growth in ministry, multiplication of disciples, commitment from members, and change in the life of prisoners.

Share areas that you want to ask people to support including how much monthly and why?

The area you can support us are has follows"

Help with monthly payment for pastors and myself and fund for evangelism work since hear we do evangelism through film show and public programs.
We need money to care for orphans. We currently have 36 orphans under our care.
Caring for prisoners is another challenge because most of them have been forgotten by their family members and friends. Among them are some that just need to pay a fine or bail to get out of the prison. Some are jailed until they can pay to get out. Some need daily food and clothing.

1- I’ am currently leading the local church of SALEM Ministries, preaching, teaching, caring for the spiritual and physical needs of members. My wife Agbante Frederic and AGBI Eugene go out every Saturday for evangelism.

6- Biggest needs: I will like you to assist us to acquire a land to build a structure for a House of Prayer and for Fund for an Evangelism and Outreach Ministry.

7- SALEM Ministries was establish in August 2008 for the following purposes

A- to preach and win souls into the kingdom of God

B- to reach orphans

C- to have a prayer centre call : spiritual awaking movement

D- to have Bible school

E- to reach prisoners
